A lot of puppy love here. I need advice. My dog seems to have had a stroke. His legs are weak.

Is there a harness that anyone has used to help you dog get about?

So sorry to hear this, hopefully it is something short term. There is a thread that you can ask pet questions to fourm members that are veterinarians! I don't know how to post the link though! It is under off-topic fourm links. Good luck to you!

All four legs or just his hind legs?

The rears are weak. The fronts are getting weaker too.

Hey there! I’m actually a vet tech! https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07RFQBD5F?_encoding=UTF8
I have several clients that use slings such as these. I actually had a dog that was paralyzed in the rear ended for months before rehab helped. I did the rehab myself. I’m actually going to specialize in rehabilitation and animal physical therapy. I’d be more than happy to give you any advice you need.

Gotcha. Our beloved boxer has a bad disc in his spine. Left the house for 15 minutes one day, came back and he’s dragging his hind legs. Scary stuff. He basically lost the use of his back legs for over a month. With rest and rehab with a sling like @TundraGirl2 posted, he is now able to get around. He’ll never be the same but at least he’s not dragging his legs.

    UPDATE
Good news. His ear was very infected and the Vet thinks it is vestibular disease, not a stroke. He pulled a ton of material out of his ear and gave him Claro Otic.

I guess the weak legs is just old age. That means the harness to help him around is still going to be a great idea.
