Thinking about removing center seat on my bench, and replacing with a center console.
Would like to possibly put a CB radio there and some switch panels. Just kicking ideas around.

I found the center seat nothing but annoying and in my way.

For the small amount of storage it offers and the terrible attributes for me as an armrest it was just not worth the space that it takes and I have also had a Tundra with the center console and though it works better for me it is still hardly a spot that optimized the space.

So the center literally just unbolts and comes out showing that the trucks are all the same and the seats layout is the same with buckets or bench and I fab stuff all the time so it was a no brainer really to just build a console of my own.

Actually the console is just a console that I had made for a friend for a Sprinter Van and reclaimed when he got rid of the van and it was sitting around so I cut it down and modded it to fit in the Tundra.

I have driven 25K with it now including a 6K mile trip recently and it work well for me aside from the Velcro like carpet that it is covered with sticking to everything it can which can even be funny in the end.

If I had more time or cared I might make a new version that is more refined but this one works just fine as it is so probably not worth the effort.

There is a space in the rear for a Ham Radio body and I plan to install the control head on the front edge but then I need a spot for Sanitizer and Wipes and have not made it past that addition just yet.

Anyway the sheer volume of storage is just what I like in a console.
