Rock Warrior Bumper /Ebay

I just purchased a 2007 tundra crew cab limited , it has a rear chrome bumper , I was looking at eBay and there's an eBay seller thats selling a bumper that can be color matched to my vehicle , but the listing says it for a Rock Warrior , is there a difference ?

 

I can't tell the difference myself. I know it's an 08 thing. Just painted black.

 

so it will fit my 2007 with no problems ? because the seller said he doesn't know and i would have to call the dealership and ask for the part number , he also said that dealership really don't like giving out that info

 

It's the same bumper, the RW came with a black bumper is the only real difference.

if you’d like to cross reference just for fun you could use this site. But as everyone said, nothings really different other than the color unless you’re looking for something like back up sensors etc. But the frame and body is all the same.

 

I need both bumpers myself....Rock Auto $460 for both delivered. (plain chrome) Cheaper to get both at the same time because of shipping. They have the Rock Warrior one as well.

sounds like a good deal ! I wanted the one on ebay because i wanted it color matched , I really don't like the look of chrome too much

 

I'm not 100% sure the RW bumper is plastic or steel, but it is already black on Rock Auto.

I just threw this one on on Saturday. Absolutely perfect fit, $142. It’s only 8 bolts on the top (under your plastic) and 2 (maybe 4) on the underside. Could always get the black one and have it painted at a shop near you and not risk shipping..https://www.ebay.com/ulk/itm/231998845938

 

Not a bad deal. I say Rock Auto alot, but yes it's worth searching on ebay sometimes. I thought about plastic dip black in case I change my mind.

 

I would love to paint it myself i just dont have the space , The one tundra i just bought has a chrome bumper that has a huge rusted hole lol its an eye sore and my ocd is killing me lol

Curious how the install went with the Rock Warrior bumper....any issues? Does it seem any stronger than the chrome one? I've got a 2007 DC Limited and came across the same bumper. Considering the investment into a stronger off-road bumper as much abuse as my current one has endured, but this deal is almost too good to pass up- less than $200 with shipping, but not painted. Going to leave it black.

 

I ended up with the stock chrome one , I think the warrior is the same but just in black , maybe someone can chime in

 

TygerTundra, I just purchased one and it is primer/flat black. I am just curious if you left yours unpainted and if you had any rust issues with it, after time.

 

I didn't end up getting the bumper, but I had decided that I was going to paint it if I did get it (I was going to put a textured paint on it like Rhino Liner). I was worried about fading and discoloration if left unpainted more than rust though.

Decided that I needed to just hold off for an off-road bumper.
