A new Gulfstream Vintage Cruiser 23RSS. Empty weight 4,400# as equipped. Gross 6,060. Had to borrow the good neighbor's Dodge to bring it home until the new Tundra arrives. The Fastway E2 WDH wasn't even needed on the old Ram. BTW, he calls the truck "Chum Bucket" What a rough ride those 230 miles were today. Still Aug 27th as my projected build date on the Tundra.

We had our Groucho Marx masks on while in the Dodge. Passing motorists seemed to understand.

Looking at TT also. Not much out there right now, at least what I was looking at.

    Good Luck with it.

Gulfstream is supposed to be one of the better brands. If this is a good one I'd sure hate to see the lesser quality.

That’s nice. But did you lose a hubcap?

Oh yeah. Me and almost every other Vintage Cruiser. I popped one off with just prying with my fingertips. Just read that they are supposed to rotate to lock on. 'Bout to go try that theory.

Edit: Shot that theory full of holes. The three remaining will rotate but still pop off with the fingers. Going looking for stainless and will run a fat bead of silicone around them.

Congrats! My in-laws have a Vintage Cruiser and have really enjoyed it. Oddly enough, we really struggled to get the hub caps off of theirs. They were super tight and difficult to remove.

My wife belongs to a VC FB group and some there say their hubcaps twist lock in place. Mine just spin and spin. At least they used to. A liberal application of silicone adhesive put a stop to that nonsense.

If there is a good side about waiting on the new Tundra to show up it that I'm getting to know all the ins and outs of this trailer. New 24" firetv TV installed with the mount modified to allow tilting, lug nuts torqued, any loose wiring all zip tied in place, new industrial surge suppression mounted, 12VDC outlet installed, new kitchen faucet replaced the original awkward one and every nook and cranny shop vac'd. We grabbed our big polypropylene rug from our river lot and have it powerwashed and placed in front of the camper in the driveway right next to the pool. So, until the Tundra arrives we can pretend. I'm beginning to wonder if I mistakenly ordered to unobtainable option on the Tundra.

You may be waiting some time still on the truck. The parts shortages for vehicle oems are getting worse as the delta variant shuts down many Asian (part supplier) countries. The company I work for is projecting shortages and shutdowns over the next few months.

I did get build conformation on Aug 28th. Now waiting on it to be delivered.
