2012 Tundra 5.7 100,000 miles. New battery, new Toyota starter, and new starter relay.
So some times I get in the truck and it clicks like a dead battery. I keep trying and then it spins over normal and cranks just fine. Other times it spins the engine very slowly and cranks no problems. Now it spins over normal speed but it takes two cycles for it to start. Cleaned cables, had battery tested, and I have a hard time thinking the new starter I put on is bad when it’s so intermittent. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

POS or neg cables could have corrosion under the insulation.

Possible problem: The fuel pump isn't pressurizing the system enough to start it on the first try.

    Next time try:

1- turn your key on so the dash lights up, wait until the fuel pump primes (basically let your dash lights finish cycling).
    2 - Do not start.
    3 - Turn key off.
    4 - Do step 1 again.
5 - Turn the key all the way to start it.

If it always starts fine with the sequence above you likely have a fuel pump or pressure issue.
