Great. First dent and it's in a bad spot

    Indeed it is. Now we have had two big hail storms hit the area lately and its possible that the dent is the result of one of those storms but I cant figure out why the hood and cab are dent free, and that thinner metal than that pillar.

    Or someone put the dent there, but did not chip the paint, which I am thankfull for either way.

    Sorry to see your dent bud. That would bug me too. I had my 2017 Tundra for less than a month when my wife opened the jeep door into my rear driver door. It left some deep scratches. It's not fixable without repainting it. Hopefully yours can be fixed. It looks like a baseball hit it.

    My wife had a dent like that on her Dodge Durango A pillar. Guy at the body shop thought it was from an errant golf ball. Anyway, she didn't get it fixed, just repainted as it had cracked the paint and metal was starting to show. Don't even notice it's there anymore.
