Hikeit Throttle Controller Sale

Happy Labor Day everybody. I posted a message in the Labor Day sale thread earlier this morning but I wanted to create this thread so everyone can check it out. HikeitUSA dropped their prices overnight on their X5 and X9 thrittle controllers. Its probably just for today. They did the same thing for Memorial Day. Prices dropped 15%. X9 is now $169 instead of $200. I also found a random promo code online (BADASSJEEP) for an additional 10%. I bought the X9 for $152.

Quick summary: really depends on what you want and how you set it up. I wanted better throttle response and I definitely have it now. As such I am occasionally hitting the throttle more since it makes me smile. My mpg is roughly the same. It can improve or decrease depending on settings and driving habbits.

 

It can if it supports an "ECO" mode, which this one does support. People get them for different reasons either to pep up the pedal response or to save gas. It depends on the end state folks desire.

 

I got it soley for the better throttle response. The factory throttle response is notoriously sluggish. Then add bigger heavier tires and the truck feels like it cant get out of its own way sometimes. The other nice feature this one has is anti theft mode. Set it and the truck only operates at idle speed. And lastly for me im going to be dropping in a magnuson supercharger in the spring or summer next year. So with the added hp i wanted more throttle options
