@Almaboy @dcsleeper408 - Yeh those style may suit my needs much better than the plate they provide. Being able to secure around the bar would be a little more assuring.
Good call and thanks for the heads up!

The brand there that the dude in the video is all about.
So far it has held up well on the Tacoma I used to have, which was on for a year and the guy who currently owns it has said it still looks like it did when I applied it.

On the Tundra its so far so good and the 4Runner has only been 3 days with some on it around the fenders.
If you apply it incorrectly, you'll know and if done well it'll hold up it seems.

Multiple car washes also on Tundra and Tacoma.

@Wrongside, you could get either a soft or retractable cover that I think would work with this setup.

I don't have the part number off hand, but they were the OEM accessories right off of Toyota.ca

Thanks as well for the words. The more folks around here doing this the better!

@Medic are you by chance attending the SONTT M&G tomorrow in Mississauga?

Twenty-Eighth Mod - Return To Domestication (Kind of)

So I know I already had posted that the mods ended, but being oddly attached to my truck, I thought I would add the final shot of her in her state of return. The dual exhaust has been returned to stock. The tires have been replaced with the stock Pro tires, as I will be keeping my KO2s. The headlights have been replaced with the pro stock headlights as I have my retrofits going onto the Pro and my tail lights have been returned to stock, along with the fogs. It has been GREAT the almost year spent with blue, but I'm looking forward to Pro Cement. The date of take home should be this Friday June 9th, so fingers crossed all goes as planned.

Thank you to all who've posted here, I love having you all on Orions build and looking forward to taking you along on that journey.

For any Canadians local, she'll be available at Heffner Toyota in Kitchener for sale in the coming weeks I imagine. 18,235 km or so. NFab side steps will remain, LineX Bed liner, window visors, TRD grill, Stubby Antenna, door sills. Whatever else I can't think of hahah. Someone better treat her well!

    End Sappy Post

The forum has gone black the last 2-3 weeks. So I don't know what has happened with SONTT. I don't have any personal contact with any of the guys from there either, so I'm left with just questions haha. Many questions.

    Nice,

How do you hook it to a remote and are you talking about the OEM Tundra remote!

    Thanks

Is it the Extang 2.0 and how do you like it, not to much water and what made you pick it over the Bakflip MX4!

    Thanks

I love the extang - of course that’s what I have. It just felt sturdier and the handles were safer... imho

The remote is a provided one from @mattgecko if you choose the upgrade to the bed light kit. I'd recommend it.

Overall it seemed the easiest to remove when needed and when I had it on, little water ever got it.
The price may have been factored in, but I don't usually place much weight on price if they are within range of one another. Usually more so on form and function.

With my new bed rack, I no longer use a tonneau however.
I've sold many Extang over the other brands also, with very little complaints. (Work for a dealer)

My current truck still holds love for my WoW playing. I have a set of decals in the works for the bedsides and rear window once again.

I obviously play horde primarily with one alliance dood just to see the other (wrong) side of the story. I've always wondered how the sliding window does with decals... but i guess i see them on this forum enough it cant be bad at all.

PS I'm gonna steal some of your intellectual property bro... take it as a compliment hehe.

hahahah very happy to have it used elsewhere!
    You still play?

I've been enjoying the early hours of this latest release. I also had a horde toon for a bit just to see the story side of things, then I xfer him back to alliance to fill of the coffers lol

Yah i play a bit, I like the game and all but there's other stuff to do that i enjoy more. At 39 years of age if i sit that long i get stiff and sore.... besides that when its nice out we should be out enjoying the trucks right
. I'ma hockey coach and an aircraft mechanic, i dabble in automotive work as well. I think every person in this forum enjoys gadgets ( hence entire threads on modding ) so i probably dont even have to mention it.

I just never sleep sadly. So once the day is done, work, kids, wife and dogs, I get to sneak in a couple hours at night if I haven't already passed out lol.
