I was attempting to add an HDMI port in my dash for my rear monitors. I noticed I had an extra knockout panel between the aux port and USB input so I planned to place the new HDMI there. But when I opened the dash, I noticed an extra wire attached to the back. Anyone know what this is?IMG_2985.jpg
Disregard the back wire coming out of the knockout. IMG_2986.jpg
Black and gray wire second from the left. What's it for?

So is that something I can order from the dealer and replace the blank knockout with?

You can, but you have to enable (or have your dealer enable) it with tech-stream.

I ended up just swapping out the driver side cigarette lighter with a USB port. There were so many times I thought my phone was supposed to be charging but my charger wasn't fully pressed in.
