I have to do the same. We now have a closet full of purses...first it was Fossil, then Coach, then stepped up to Burberry and now she's asking for LV also. :help: I might try and make a deal with the LV and get myself a bumper, but now these mods cost me twice as much when I have to barter.

About the only thing I know is that the setup is supposed to be full-coverage. Haven't gotten much for details, including price. Just hoping it's less that $800... much less.

    LOL!!

I told myself no more upgrades because of the "extra" costs. The only other thing I would consider is an audio upgrade (headunit, door speakers, and sound insulation).

My aluminum Valhalla plates were $750 shipped. I didn't pay for the powder coat.

You wanna talk about extra costs, not to mention going down a rabbit hole... I was going to do a modest upgrade, just head unit and speakers, now we're at about $1500 so far and will probably add some dash tweeters and another sub down the road...

Details of my lift are here: https://www.tundras.com/threads/az-bs.21043/page-51#post-2379850

My mileage went from 25 MPG street/30 MPG highway down to 18 MPG street/22 MPG highway. The aerodynamics has a HUGE effect for highway MPG for me. I can get up to 25 MPG on highway if I keep the speedometer at 65 MPH, but what is the fun in driving speed limit? :anonymous:

But that's the fun part though. Going down a rabbit hole, having that internal debate on which components to buy and justifying to yourself to buy the more expensive one.

Just heard back - 10 ga rolled steel, powdercoated and covers front and rear cats. Should be <$400 and ready next week. He sent me a sneak peek and they look good.

Once he makes a public post about them I’ll post it up here. I don’t want to step on his toes if he’s trying to make a reveal out of it or anything.

Things are looking good for a Saturday drive to Four Peaks. Is everyone open for a morning run? I was thinking of meeting at the trail head at 8:00AM and then start driving to the hike area at the top. Cell phone reception is spotty at best. I have some radios that we can use, 5 of them to be exact. I will program them for a frequency that we can use.

    Meet here: https://goo.gl/maps/6YWp8ybqsLHxG7n37
Then drive up to here: https://goo.gl/maps/iwfu8ztgDeKHPuWW7

I was last on that trail in March/April and attempted to drive up there for a sunset view. It took me about 90 minutes to get to the overlook area with stock suspension and light vehicle traffic.

Bring your own lunch and beverages. This is cross posted and is an open invite. Family friendly event.:thumbsup:

Still MIA, I have no idea where it fell off during the trip. Oh well, luckily D ring shackles are pretty inexpensive, I just ordered a new one with a cotter pin so it won’t unscrew itself again.

Still interested. Was wanting them a bit longer than the VQ cat skids, or maybe it's not needed?

On a side note I got a compressor and IR ditch lights installed. Will be doing some driving with nightvision.
Trying a set of those seat jackers. Seems more comphy so far.
Long day in a hot garage!

Here are some photos from yesterday's outing...

These were legit to use on the trail.

Airing down and triggering all these warning indicators on the dashboard.

Obligatory ATxAT illumination picture with Four Peaks in the background.

Another picture with all the trucks with Four Peaks in the background.

At the top of the hiking area.

Some photos crossing the wash with exposed rock and where @Bob_Wiley got stuck :burnrubber:

A photo on a hill coming back to the trailhead parking lot.

    The more the merrier.

We all had lifted trucks and bigger tires. @Olson had stock 20" tires. We got to the top in about 70ish minutes.

The weather at the top was comfortable, about 85° with clear views of the East Valley and Roosevelt Lake.

I think the next outing is going to be a night run. :mudding:
