Installed a @Puppypunter brake light tap and took the opportunity to clean up my in-cap frankenharness. The custom made taps are the way to go. No cutting into the factory harness. Toyota should have included these in the glove box.

    Aww snap.

I like those wheels a lot.

Not even a big "wheel guy", but I may have to copy if it becomes a thing down the road.

    Nicely done

So this mug was a hand-me-down, so that counts as a 2nd Gen...right?

Got the Ironman springs/shackles on with Dobinson IMS shocks. Ran out of time today so tomorrow I'll torque everything to spec and test ride. Springs need to settle but I like the stance better now.

Took the truck out for a spin finally. I love the Ironman leafsprings with the IMS shocks. Sure it's mix and matched between brands but the combo feels so dang good. It's like a whole new truck. Rides perfect.

Fab Four quality control on the red steel bumper is the same as what you'd find on hammered dog shit.

One mounting bracket was missing a critical weld. The threaded holes all needed to be chased with a tap. I had to grind material off the bumper to clearance it to actually fit on my truck and not rub. The documentation sent with the bumper is worthless. What really bugged me was FabFour wrote something like "the Red Steel bumper delivers higher quality than you expect." Nope. I expected welds to be complete, threaded holes to accept hardware, and the bumper to fit my truck without grinding.

I do however think it looks cool.

Is it just the lowering assist strut, or has the tailgate rusted out?

What tail lights are those? Do you have any more pics? How’s the quality (fitment, output, LED reliability)? They look good from what I see in this pic

I got Toyota Techstream running and I used it to change some hidden options:
    • No beep on lock or unlock
    • No seatbelt beep
    • Unlock all doors with one press instead of only driver's door
    • Turn off headlights immediately after leaving car instead of staying on for 30 seconds
My truck is less annoying, yay. This is the hardware I bought:

Mini VCI J2534 TIS techstream Diagnostic Cable, OBD2 Scanner for Toyota Lexus Scion https://www.amazon.com/dp/B088RJSR5Y

The instruction video worked BUT you must disable Windows Firewall and Windows Security prior to install. Software comes on a CD and if you don't have a CD in your computer just DM me.

Software also does regular OBD diagnostics and testing and I think you can use it to program keys and remotes but I didn't do that. I did clear a few codes leftover from when I removed my seats.

    Y’all think it’s overloaded:bikewheelie:?
It also has a 2”lift up front so it sits up a little higher than a stock one up front.(obviously)

I’m assuming you kept the original grille, painted it to match color and added the insert? That looks incredible and the headlights just make it look BA. Good to know the Sequoia swap isn’t the only option to improve the front

New grill from Amazon color matched. Alibaba.com insert and TSS cover from @Rube207

Alpharex pro headlights with level adjuster.

My favorite part no 1” gap at the bottom of the grill.

Changed diffs, transfer case, transmission fluids. Have brake, power steering and coolant still to do. Just about to crack 100k miles. Not sure when or if anything other than oil was changed. Bought the truck 3 years ago with 72k on the clock.

    Too little to the Tundra....

I replaced the broken glass on the lower mirror with a pane I found on Amazon. The blind spot stick-on lets me see the rear tires. Very helpful for backing. Installing it was what broke my mirror in the first place! Those lower mirrors have very little backing support.
