It's currently at my buddies place getting buffed, and I'm borrowing his wifes explorer for the night. The PO lived on a driveway with a lot of small sticks / branches in the way so the paint is all hammered to hell. None of them are deep enough to not come out, but it looks terrible. Once it gets polished up I'll definitely be happy to share! It desperately needs a wheel / tire package though. The stock steelies are pretty sad

    As promised have an update!
New pads / rotors all around, oil+filter change, new left tail light and rear bumper, got 4x4 low working again, cap back on, and had it buffed.

Still has the weird intermittent starting-dying quirk, but swapping keys seems to solve it every time. Bad chips? Something tripping the security system? Who knows... But getting it back up to snuff slowly but surely!

Another update, intermittent starting issue turned out to be an improperly installed Hewitt Tech air pump bypass. Shop that did it didn't do it right, I reinstalled everything correctly and have had no issues since! Going on over a month of perfect starts every time

    That's great news, congratulations!
I was hoping it would turn out to be a good truck for you.
Our tundras are twins except for the powerplant.

I put 500,000 miles on my 4.7 and it was ready for another half million. I only sold the truck because my needs changed. It burned no oil, had no blow by, was trouble free with reasonable maintenance. I learned to do the timing belt service myself and saved a ton. I could get it done in 6 hours and three dr peppers.

I'll understand if you need to sell it, just send me a message with a price. My kid will be driving next year and will need to haul his lawn mowers himself by then.
