So, looking at this parts truck yesterday, it's a 2010 with 135k on it. Its got a dual exhaust with trd tips. I'm not sure if the mufflers are trd. Don't they have the trd logo stamped into them? It's two round mufflers side by side. They're about two ft long and six inches in diameter. The hangers all look factory. But the connection at the passenger side cat is welded where on my 13 has a flange also the the pipe is bent forward a little bit where it turns out behind the wheel. Should be fixable. The system is in good shape other than that and sounds good. Ideas as to what to offer the guy. Or is it even worth the hassle?

I tried, but my phones battery was to low for the flash to work. Shouldn't I be able to have a new flange welded on so I'm not hacking things up? Or a flange with a short slip fit pipe?

He's also got the trd CAI, is that worth bothering with for $50?

I'd like the CAI just for the bling factor....they're oh so pretty. Seriously, I'd get it for $50 in a heart beat. I like my dual trd exhaust too. If it's gonna need some welding, I wouldn't offer too much for it. The pipes, muffler back including tips and hangars, are about $400 new.

Yeah, the cai is nice looking. I was thinking about offering him $100 for both.

Someone else beat me to it, sold last night. No theiving parts today. I wonder how much the aftermarket rear view mirror is worth. The backup camera screen is a lot bigger and clearer than the stock one in my truck.

Oh man.... And you had me so inspired... I went and stole a rear bumper. Well, I just paid considerably less than retail.

Good job Warren, deals on good used parts leave more cash for other mods! I'm not sweating about the exhaust, wasn't all that sure about putting 135k mufflers on my truck with 27k anyway. The CAI is apparently just under hood eye candy, so no big loss there either. I did get the rear bumpstops that I do need for $30. $90 +tx from the dealership. I had to cut them off to put the air bags on. Now I'm taking them off before going to Moab in a couple weeks.

Won't be finding out anytime soon. Somebody snagged it up. Apparently the cai does nothing but looks good when you open the hood. Nor do any of them. The exhaust is gives you just a little bit more power. Probably not enough to make a big difference with 35's. To correct that you might have to regear your diffs. I think it is 4.88 that's available, don't remember how much. But not cheap or diy in the driveway. Or go back to a smaller tire like I did. Most guys are fine on 35's with the 4.30 gearing. But things are different in the mountains.
