So I went through three cheap air compressors in past year. Basically I have a wheel on the old tundra that for some reason keeps getting low tires and tire pressure sensor errors. I even have new tires. So as result looking for a solid air compressor I can plug into wall power. If has a truck power option great but really looking for something can be plugged into the wall. Needs to not burn out quick.

What are some of the brands that are recommended?

I have a Makita mac5200. Things a beast! 6.5cfm, its a little heavy, and cumbersome so have some garage floor space ready.

My brother and dad both have the Makita mac2400, its pretty damn quiet if you don't need over 4cfm, and a small footprint.

OME Nitrocharger/2612 (front), Bilstein 5100s (rear). Vanguard roll bar modified (by me) to fit over Patriot Stealth retractable tonneau. Aftermarket halo headlights with HID, various LED bulb replacements. 17" Fuel Blitz wheels with some 33" Nitto terra grapplers. Hoodscoop, nfab nerfbars, Bushwacker flares. No-name aftermarket grille, led fender extensions. Black Horse bambi-basher. Various offroad lights.
Makita's are good, I like'm. If you want a forever compressor find an older one, most any brand, that isn't oil-less. Yes you have to have oil in it, but they last, and they're quieter to boot.

Are your wheels that hard to replace? You might have a leak in the wheel itself, I have seen that before. Replace the wheel and problem solved.

On compressors I have had a viar for a few years that use pretty often. It connects direct to the battery and works really well.

Older wheels could be leaking around the paint or pin holed somewhere.

orginal TRD wheels from came with the 07 Tundra. Been wanting to get black wheels for my 2021 (crewmax cement :) ) wonder if could just swap. Your question got me thinking and being we have new tires, and they have been rotated, the fact it is the same passenger side front tire seems odd. During a tire rotation don't they just take the wheel off and mount it in a different spat? i.e leave the tire on the original wheel? If that is the case then shouldn't be having this problem on the front passenger but whatever spot the original wheel got moved to? Any other things that may be causing the issue to look for?

I have a Makita MAC5200 and a MAC210Q. I have never had an issue with the bigger one. I bought the smaller one so that it is easier to do in-house projects like baseboard since it is light and quite. If you want one to last, it has to be oiled. Oil-less compressors are disposable, they only last a certain number of hours.

I have an arb twin compressor mounted under my hood. Fills up tires quick and it’s built way better than whatever I have in my garage

I think I have permanent hearing loss from my craftsman oil-less compressor I had for years. Thankfully, I finally smartened up and sold it and bought a makita. Couldn't be happier how quite it is. Do yourself a favor and buy an oiled one.

eventually, I want to get a setup like this for my truck. Right now however looking for something that can be used for occasional tire filling for both our trucks and handle small tasks around the house for the meantime.
