Cerakote headlight kit…wow!

    I wish I had taken a before picture, but I’m sure you have seen it before… my headlights were completely clouded over and opaque. I picked up the Cerakote kit based on reviews, and I’m impressed! Very easy to use, and I have enough left over for another car. I did do an extra polishing step using a PC7424 buffer and Meguiars M205 polish, which really cleared up the lenses. This is the end result:

    Haha, not yet. Had to order a new gasket… it’s on the way!

    That’s great to hear!

    I also plan to wrap them with Vvivid clear headlight wrap once they cure. I did that with my wife’s car about a year ago (without cerakote treatment) and it’s held up great. I figure it should give an additional layer of protection.

    I had a bad experience with clear film on headlights, was terrible trying to remove them....left thick glue gel that was a bitch to remove (on my commuter car). I bet you are fine with just the cerakote
