Just added color matched fender flares. Last pictures for awhile or ATLEAST until the next upgrade. Tell me what you think of "The Terminator".

When you mention rubbing on the body mount, where is that exactly? The front or back area of tire well? I was thinking on a new front bumper with my TRD Pro, no additional lift... if I go with a Fab Four Premium Winch bumper or this PreRunner style, do you think I could get away with 35-12.5/18 tire?

Just a few, more to come
Body mount is behind the tire at the rear of the fender well. Factory mudflaps bulge over it and hide it.

(click on the photo thumbnails to see exactly what is cut/trimmed)

With the combination of a CMC and a front bumper to open the front of the wheel well a 35x12.50 should be no problem, and I'd venture to guess even 37's could be made to fit with a correct wheel offset.

Toyo M/Ts 295/70R18 no rubbing issues after I removed the small front mud flaps.

What are those Pro rims going for at the dealership? I wonder if they'll look good on a Metallic gray Tundra?

Price on the Tundra TRD PRO 18" wheels are $532/ea. Was told thought you need the VIN number to purchase though. I'll be selling mine soon, as soon as I make up my mind on replacements.

The 2014-2015 TRD off road wheels are the same as the PRO, but not power coated.

Ended up going with this exact set up, so thanks to Philo for the post that led to the decision. The tires stick out about another 0.8-inches over stock and about the same difference in larger diameter. Also, the forward flaps on the front wheel wells do rub at about 3/4 full turn of the steering wheel when reversing. I just took them off...not like I plan on doing some reverse mudding anytime soon :)

I chose the Toyo's over the Nitto counterpart (TG M/Ts) because a buddy put the Nittos on his Chevy and holy road noise batman! If you're concerned with road noise then pay the extra money and go with the Toyo OC M/Ts.

Here's some pics with the new NFab Durastep running bars I installed two days ago (literally took like 20 mins to put these bars on...super simple install).

    Durastep%202_3c91c65e4bb0dc9ec4f21c7d67b77ebffd700ffb.jpg
    Durastep%201_de08e25b57e01df778181af57a1505b58441f344.jpg

Oh, put on the weathertech window deflectors too. They're nice and slim with a shallow profile. They look great!

Thanks guys, sorry for the lull in post activity. Been tremendously busy traveling for work.

    Have a good one guys!

I had the TOYOs OC and was not impressed with them. They were not as great in the snow/ice as my Duratracs, and put out a decent amount of road noise when it rained.

I can see that. The Duratracs are an awesome compromise between an A/T and M/T tire. I don't have much snow/ice to be concerned with in South Texas so that wasn't really a factor in my decision. However, if I were still living in Maryland, the Duratracs probably would've been my tire of choice. Great points Sean, thanks for sharing!

So I buy this TRD Pro telling the wife; "This thing is the complete package. I don't need to mod it beyond the tonneau, bedrug and real tires". So, explain to me how I am supposed to go back to her now with all your madness? To my advantage, she and one of the kids fell getting out, so maybe I can blame this little Durastep thing on them, hence not to impact my budget...

Since you are already have forced numerous pics of this vehicle upon me, can you take one more from a little lower to get a better angle and see how/if this impacts ground clearance? Also, is it all aluminum/steel? I think it is nice, simple, and BLACK...

Stop your modding!!! You need help!

The appropriate equation for Tundra mods is:

n+1 Where "n" is the current number of mods you have for your Tundra.

This equation can be applied to just about anything. Example I use this for my bikes.:bananadance:

I sent them the pic after they helped me fast track an RMA with the Amazon seller where I bought them. They didn't have one for a 2015 Tundra and wanted to ensure that the part for the 2014 was a direct fit. I guess I was the guinea pig though I didn't really have any doubts. I told them they could use the pic on their site after all the assistance they gave me. Essentially when I unwrapped the first set the shipper had managed to bang them so hard that there was a dent and a bunch of chipped paint off the front step for the passenger side. The seller was awesome too, in terms of getting me replacements before I sent back the damaged set. I have a contact at NFab, who is actually the CEO/President, but haven't really explored doing anything to get discounts. I could certainly reach out to them and see if they're willing to hook up something for the great guys of www.tundras.com :)

Hahahahahha...my "Veruca" is done for a little bit. Did I mention I finished the Line-X too? Doh!
In terms of justification to the wife, let her know that the truck is actually already lifted 2" from the factory and while it's the complete package, the running bars will definitely ease the burden of packing the kids up. I can't tell you how much my 5-year old boy is loving these things, and how much easier it is on me getting him into the truck. I just open the door and he's in like Flynn. Oh, and the girlfriend loves them too. At 4'11" she probably should...hehehehehe!

I will get some pics for you put up tonight when I get home. There is a loss of clearance, probably about 1-2" and the steps stick out about 1-1.5" past the fender wells. Just to help drive your decision and conviction when presenting a case to the better half :)

I like the toyo mt look.... But Sean is right they don't do well in snow/ice or wet conditions. I have them rotated every 4-5 thousand miles. They seem to wear well and are not as loud at the bfg mt I have had. Overall I like them but would most likely go with the duratracs because of the snow driving in Colorado! My friend just got the toyo rt and he loves them.
