Not sure of I missed it, but does anyone have an opinion on the best fiberglass for a 2nd gen? Currently looking at the McNeil but would prefer something like the 3rd gen SDHQ ones that taper to the original bumper width so that I don’t end up with a strange looking front valance thing.

You can do a 3rd gen swap with the SDHQ glass. I talked to one of the guys over there and he said it can be done since the 2nd gen and 3rd gen have the same cab. You would just have to get all the parts and pieces for the front end swap.

If you want to keep 2nd gen, ADV or Fiberwerx. Glass is glass, its not all perfect. If you are not a DIY guy and want it done right, it's kinda best to just pay a body shop to do it and have it done right.

Stupid question, how wide overall will the truck be with the ADV glass fenders? my calculation says 88inches, which is about as wide as a TRX, does that sound about right?

It's just shy of 80" now, so with a 4" flare, you're about right.

It's an odd thing to ask, but folks down the main roads want to put those slow signs to slow down the city folks out for a drive, we are trying to keep it just wide enough for trailers, was wondering if truck would fit after the conversion
