Feel like we should do another “slaps in the wild”. Pretty disappointed in myself for not getting a good one. But especially disappointed in @TaquitoBandito, I really thought he’d come up with something epic. Maybe a fall or winter go round.

 

I agree, literally was going to enter then the shit hit the fan. Between that and the weather I was never able to get a good shot.

 

Shit, I was at the cabin for a week and still didn’t get Jack. Usually we have a bear cross the river or something. Dogs treed a turkey, but all I had was the 10mm, decided it wasn’t wise to knock it down. Plus would have been way better live.

Part 2 was ok. Certainly watchable.

 

It's fucking hot here and those squirrels are fast. Everything else in Texas is freaking poisonous... although it would be cool to have the Toyomafia crew line up and slap my coffin (or coffins depending on what Texas beast I slapped and how many pieces I was in) before it's lowered into the ground.

Also, my wife wouldn't let me take her 4Runner to the safari place because she was afraid her vehicle would get damaged (to be fair, that's why I wouldn't dare bring the Tundra there).

I know, I have a pile of lame excuses as well. I would be honored to slap your coffin, in fact I’d cover that son of bitch.

 

So what have i missed out on the last couple of days? Drove up to the Cape to drop the wife and kids off with the in-laws for the week (I couldn't escape work this week so I just went for a quick weekend trip). Finally home living a bachelor life for the week. Starting off with a nice local hometown brew (think I might need a bigger Koozie), and cranking the Metallica Live Shit Binge and Purge DVD!! Tonight is F@#$ the neighbors night.

I need to do the same thing but with camera lenses. I finally found a place that had the USA version of the Canon RF100mm Macro lens for list price in stock. Freaking camera lens cost so much and they don't really lose value. After this latest purchase, I bought ordered a humidity control cabinet to keep my camera shit in. Figure if/when something happens to me and if my daughter still isn't interested in my hobby, at least she'll be able to buy something nice for herself after selling my camera equipment.
