2011 Thundra. Had the symptoms of a bad clock spring. Horn quit, cruise acting strange but working. It started blowing brake light fuses. I changed the clock spring (ebay) and all appeared OK until I tried the cruise. No light on the dash and it doesn't set. I took it all back apart and checked all wire connections. I checked 10A fuse 29 but it was OK. I have ordered a cruise switch but I can't help but think that the clock spring I just put in may be faulty because the cruise light and the cruise itself was working just prior to change. It was flakey in that when you had the cruise set and hit the brake, the cruise light would starting blinking and you would have to turn the cruise off and back on to get it to stop blinking. Looking for advice.

I would spend the money for a genuine clock spring, or at least a lightly used pull.

frichco228, I tried to use the search function but I must need some training. Thank you for the guidance. I think I found the problem in one of the threads you suggested. I think I ordered a part for an earlier model instead of my 2011. If you don't mind, share with me what you typed in the search window to get the results you did.
    Thanks in advance

If this helps, typically how I search is on Google. Enter what I’m searching like “cruise control not working” and add “tundras.com” at the end. Been VERY helpful to find threads and information.

Sometimes I use the search function here, upper right. In this case I wanted broader results so I just did a google search of "tundra cruise control not working" and it popped up results from several of the tundra forums, including this one and other websites, then just choose what you want to see.

If you don't the get results you want in a search, just try different verbiage and see if you get better results. Search away, only takes a few seconds!
