Was looking to replace my wheels o a 2003 SR5 Reg cab V8

Had 16" aftermarket wheels on it when I purchased and not sure what came on it.
Checked a Toyota website for parts and dont look like these came on my year.

The ones in the link is what I am looking for. But looks like they are only made in 17".

    Can anyone confirm.
Also I could wait until I need new tires to get these wheels. Any pros vs cons going to a 17"

Right now my tires are 265/70R 16

My ‘03 came with those wheels stock in 17”, should be no discernible difference in performance or handling. I’m currently on 16” OEM Tacoma wheels and can’t tell any difference.

    I don't think you'll notice a difference in 16" vs 17" for normal street driving. I went from 17" to 16".

Do you plan on off-roading? If so, going to 17" wheels will work against you. You will not be able to air down your tires and achieve the same ride/ footprint as an aired down tire on a 16" wheel. There will also be more wheel taking impacts and dings instead of tires.

If you ever want to go all out upgrading your front brakes to Lexus 14WA calipers, you're going to need 17" wheels.

If you're going to try and fit bigger tires like 285s, I personally think they look better on 16" wheels instead of 17" on our trucks.

    Removed lots of rust.
If you wait and watch, you can find the same rims for less. I got the same set for $125 each with free shipping. Just looking to save you money.

Thanks for the link. It did confirm that style I wanted only comes in 17". But the truck also came with 16" in a different style.

thanks, I may look a while longer. I really wish these where not so old. Then easy to find some new condition take offs. And maybe a gamble with getting refurbished. Is it a good company and did a good job or not. Will the clear coat hold up as well as oem.

Also now, I was a little worried that they may become very hard to find. Since 15 - 20 years old. Companies may not think worth while to refurbish them.

I think have a good 3 years of tire wear left on my old 16" tires. May keep checking just a little while longer. And have them on hand when I get at least closer to needing new tires. Since I will need new to switch from 16 to 17" tires.

Just found a set for 565.00 so may go ahead and get these and just hold on until at least close to needing tirees.
And seems to be from one of the larger wheels repair companies. So maybe the process was done good.

You might have luck selling your current set with the tires if they have that much life left, help offset the cost of the new setup.

If you're willing to sit on a set of these rims I'd hold off on buying from eBay. Stick around here, check the for sale listings and you'll probably come across a better deal. Heck, at the end of last year I gave a set of these away. Oh, check your scrap yards as well...

Also understand there are different colors of this rim and know which you prefer -

A couple of bigger pictures showing the two different variations -

And I believe there is a chrome version as well (came on the Sequoia if I'm not mistaken).

I agree with @abcinv that you should be able to find a cheaper source for those wheels. It took me forever to get rid of my stock set even for only $200.

The top pic are the ones I would like on my truck. But not sure what is the name of the color. I have seem ads with calling them 3 different things.
    1. All Silver, 2. Painted Silver and 3. Light Hyper silver. Do you think these are all the same?

One place (link below) has a AD for Light Hyper Silver. But at the bottom listed varations/options for also All Silver

I am a Bit confused. thanks if anyone can help. Again wanted then ones in the top pic.
