I would but the Pro has BSM monitoring and if I move the tows over, I would lose that function, so I sadly won't be.

That is correct. Also we have the leather interior. I've seen some with cloth in the US.

    Cement =)

the first year of pro's came in cloth here in the US.
Where are the Canadian Tundras assembled over there? US are assembled in Texas.

I agree with you. I could have gone with either white or cement just as happy. If he told me he had a red one, I probably would have turned it aside.

All our Tundras/Tacoma's come from the Texas plant.

Thanks Ron! The first few mods will be moving over items from this one to that one, and then I hope to build off of that a little bit more... will also have to share some love with the wifes 4Runner, so we'll see what the future holds :drunk:

BSM sensors are located behind the rear bumper (at least on a 2016). Id put the tow mirrors on the new rig.

D'oh, just realized that you'd need tow mirrors with the BSM indicator. Otherwise, youre correct, they wont work.

Correct but the lights that illuminate to indicate something are in the mirrors.
Don't know if I'd just want beeping when reversing.

I see why you said the bolts to your Tempui were short. They have to straddle the bars. Mine are way too long because the tent sits on 1/4" flat wide pieces of aluminum. Mine are so long i couldn't get a socket all the way up to where the nut locks down

LoL yah. I had to use a classic wrench to make sure to get them on snug and because I'm paranoid I also have two ratchet straps going around to doubly hold the tent to the bed...
I know over kill, but now I can easily get to my straps if I need them!

I wouldn't say overkill. You're just like me and want things not to move. I've spent 4 nights in mine with my son and little dog and damn that mattress is comfortable. Down the road i'll end up with a annex (like yours) but i'm still way behind schedule on my other mods

I have one of my plates that runs in the track on the tent broken from me trying to torque it and hitting it straight. I have a little work to do there but I'm going to remove my bed rack soon and work on that along with getting shorter bolts so i don't end up with a perforated cranium.

LoL sounds like a good priority there! Also yeah these mattresses are amazing!

The annex is a good time. Nice changing room, plus for me the dogs love hanging out there.
Well worth it once you get there.

We don't get much rain here so it's not on the priority list. I'm still trying to work out my suspension issues.

I'll have an annex...just in due time

I hate those damn plates.. I ended up getting some exhaust clamps and using the bottom piece to hug the tube better. I still needed a longer bolt, but only by a few.
    This is what I used.
    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000KKHNLO/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Im sure you guys can find cheaper. maybe in an anodized black? But I just used that bottom piece instead of the plates supplied with the tent.

Trying to think of a way I can use the U-bolts from the exhaust clamps..
I can send some pictures if you want, but its pretty self-explanatory and I think it looks a lot better. Maybe more sturdy too?

Thanks for the heads up. That would be great for Kevin. I have a different type rack. Mine has flat plates for the tent to bracket to. The u clamps wouldn't benefit me. What i need is just shorter bolts so that i don't poke holes in my head when working in the bed.

Thanks for the great idea. I'm sure @Krezz can benefit from this experience

Yeah, I got longer 5/16 bolts, and they hang a little lower. I think they are maybe 1/2" longer than the ones that came with the tent.
I also used some vacuum cap plugs 5/16" for the ends of the bolts.. Had a couple of bumps before I put em on and boy do that leave a mark... Vacuum caps aren't the best, but they kinda work as a rubber guard... Or you can always wear a helmet when you are crawling under there lol. Try it out. I got em for like 5$ from harbor freight.
