Man, thank you for that post, was something I needed.

 

For $69 Cad, no tax, free shipping, I figured they were worth a shot.

 

And it's yellow, that means no one will want to steal them.

 

I wasn't going to pay an extra $20 for green or blue for a tool that makes no difference what color it is.

If it came with mounting hardware I'd probably jump on this, but I'll probably wait for the X-Bull boards to drop again. Seems like they dip every month or so. Oh, and the X-Bull ones have a coupon for $15 off right now, so they're $80 - not too bad.

 

I snagged the VeePeak OBD2+ BT OBD Reader pretty cheap on the first day and got it Yesterday.
I downloaded OBD Fusion and the enhanced PID Pack for Toyota and sure enough it gives me Tranny Temps!

I am still playing around with it trying to get a good grasp of it bit it seems amazingly capable to say the least and well worth the money too,I have an older ScanGauge and an UltraGauge and neither will give me transmission temp so that is really why I wanted to give it a try.

Oddly too the price shot back up on the second day of prime almost to the normal price and I noticed the same thing with several things I was saving and thinking about buying?

I didnt remember them doing that on Prime Days before?

 

It depends on how you set up your deals. Self service you can do different levels of discounts that correspond with different lengths of time. Or you can buy into a package and get the full meal deal. Every vendor and product has a different strategy that makes sense for their situation.

I felt that this was a pretty muted PD, and I think that global supply chain issues were behind the limited deals and overall lack of enthusiasm, despite what Amazon dribbled out yesterday.

 

I didnt even know I had any input into my deals?
I just wait until I search for something and dont care that much to tweak anything anyway but thanks for splaining it anyway.
I might just drop my Prime either way as it is so hit or miss from where I sit these days anyway.
