Going to Hawaii in a few weeks (Oahu), wife and I have been before but the kids haven’t, so we’re planning to have lots of beach time. First vacation since early 2020, so we’re excited!

I wanna go back now that my youngest is getting into surfing. My wife likes Maui (not my favorite island but we were married there) and I have family there so maybe when the oldest comes home for winter break.

I enjoyed Maui too, but probably won’t go there until my kids are old enough for some of the more adventurous activities. Taking a bike down Haleakala was amazing.

We arrived in Santorini last night, enjoyed a sunset dinner at the wine bar restaurant. The last picture is the view from our hotel room patio. Pictures don’t do this island any justice. The ocean views are so incredibly vast it almost looks fake when your looking at it.

Come visit one of our state parks, I can give you an address via PM. Basketball Hall of Fame is about 15 minutes from my park.

I was in Myrtle Beach for Fourth of July. Gotta love those Carolina Rakes for a good laugh. Sadly, I saw a 1st gen Tundra with it, though.

Was also in Rangely, ME and went to Lime Rock Park for IMSA this year.

    We went....to the doctor!

We were going to go on vacation, but son had a very mild cough (I mean, literally every cold he's ever had gave him a worse cough). So 'just in case' we decided to get him tested for COVID, 'knowing' it was just a cough. Well....yeah. It WAS just a cough, but guess what gave him that cough. Last week we got off quarantine. LOL

The good news - despite being quarantined with him for 2 weeks, our antibodies fought it off. United allowed us to cancel our tickets and apply the balance towards a future vacation, so now we're figuring out where else to go.

I'm psyched to get to Legoland with my son at some point. I have a few friends who worked there as it was being built. Take your son on a headboat it takes all the guess wirk out of fishing. They will supply the rod, reel, bait.

Went camping at Gettysburg PA a few times. There’s a lot of history there. We took a few ghost tours. The one tour we were in the basement and they turned out the lights for us to take random photos. Supposedly you can get a spirit on the photo. People in our group think this blurred photo is a spirit moving across. Maybe, maybe not. 9A67B6A0-A22D-4789-81C3-2B6E7D4746FE.jpg584FFE9A-FED7-44D2-97BE-41F841CAF79C.jpgE128CA8C-C635-4CA9-8700-16160CDC6818.jpg

Thats awesome. I love Greece, haven’t been since 2017 and was hoping to go back this year but we are going to three week trip to Croatia so I am not complaining.
Once you experience that part of the world it makes it hard to vacation anywhere else.

    Cheers to Mythos!
