Finally got my suspension, wheels, and tire mods done. The tires are BFG KO2's 35x12.5r18. Wheels are Method 701 in matte black 18x9 with 25mm offset. Suspension is King 2.5" coilovers extended travel with adjusters. Left side turned 2 more turns then the right side for lean. Both set to level.

I had previously installed Coachbuilder bumper shims to push the bumper forward about 1/2" and also removed the plastic inner fender so the front had plenty of room.

Initially both sides rubbed at the rear splash guard/cab mount. I do not want to do a BMC so I tried to get by by just removing the splash guard. It worked for the passenger side but not the driver side. Still rubbed at the cab mount only on left turns. This is due to caster set more positive on the passenger side for some reason. Could be road crown. I'm sure someone on this site knows why.

I got it realigned today and told them to move caster to 4+ which they basically did. We tested it on the rack left to right and no rubbing. Truck drives straight and I can turn and reverse with no rubbing.

Couldn't be more happy with the results. Now here is the only thing. There is no rubbing in all street and driveway situations so far. Have not taken it out to any dirt yet for articulation rubbing. I'm sure there will be but for the amount I get out there will be far and few between.

    Very cool! Thanks!

I’m thinking on what to do with inner fenders or if I need to make something

Nice write up, exactly why we designed our front bump shim kit the way we did. not cutting and all looks stock after install. Awesome!!!

Sweet! I'm about to have the same wheels and tires and lift. Do you have a picture from the rear or front showing how much tire sticks out? I'm trying to figure out if I need flares for the 701 with 35x12.5r18, and if I do, if I can get away with small flares instead of pocketed flares. Sweet setup!

Thanks for the info. My next set of tires will be 35 x 12.50s. I have Falcon tow/haul, Fuel +20 and Coachbuilder shims plus will do the BMC in the next couple months. Just think 35s fill the wheelwells better.

I love it. Can I ask approximate cost of the wheels and tires?
