Is Sequoia Cruise Control Radar Effected by Sequoia Lower Grille Replacement?

    2017 Sequoia Platinum
    I have a 2017 Sequoia Platinum which is equipped with the radar system for cruise control. I've been considering changing up the look of the front with a different grille setup. The lower grille has the cutout for the cruise control radar. My question is will putting an aftermarket grille overtop of that cruise control radar effect the function of the radar? (Example: a mesh insert, so not completely blocking it)(pic is not mine, but same system)radar box.jpg
