@Bonzen, did you design a transmission mount? I know there was some interest mentioned in this thread. I'm curious as well because I'm installing your motor mounts this weekend.

I never even thought of such a thing. :eek2: The video from earlier is gone though. I've been trying to find a video of the engine movement on stock mounts. No luck. :pout:

I’m curious about the trans mount also. The last time I messaged @Bonzen was on IG, I believe he said they were heading to the the laser cutter at that point.

Yeah man it’s definitely a thing. At least 4 of my friends and I run these engine mounts and we all had blown out OE rubber mounts.

The transmission mount is nearing completion. Due to the funky OE design and the incredibly tight tolerances between the mount and the trans housing it's been a challenge to make a strong fabricated boxed design. I've gone back and forth with the laser cutter multiple times and I've sent a prototype out to a well known forum member to test fit and get his feedback. So we're working on it. I want it to fit perfect for everyone!

    Are these considered "lifetime" mounts?

Yes. Just periodically check the bolts and at some point and depending on weather/abuse conditions the bushings will have to be replaced. I've seen them go 2 years on some trucks and 15 years on others. All relative to their environment. But the bushings are inexpensive to replace.

Awesome. I was a bit taken aback by the price, but just priced out OEM from a dealership and they're about 300-350 for the pair. 500 for lifetime doesn't sound too bad. Let me know how to proceed for ordering. Thanks.

It's a big upgrade in strength from stock. Not just longer lasting. I'm not sure if I've posted in this thread in earlier posts but guys that use their trucks off road have been breaking and bending these things left and right due to the weak design and cheap rubber. Some customers have had the mounts fail to where their frame has twisted inwards and they have had to take their trucks to frame straightening shops. Rare but its happened.

Sent you a DM, I may have double messaged you haha.

I personally don't have one, maybe someone else does. Honestly it's pretty straightforward. If you can do brakes you a do these. Obviously just tighter working spaces. But IMO these are the easiest mounts to bolt on because of the design and room to work with. I send instructions with the kits too.
