I had a blast! 5 days 4 nights. Camped at Edge of the world with @n2deep and @papasmurf first night then met up with everyone else at Stoneman Lake. We ran Broken Arrow, Greasy Spoon, the Cinders, and several other no name trails. I had a badass ribeye at Mormon Lake Lodge and a $25 margarita at Enchanted Resort. Oh and lots of hot pockets. Only trail damage was a slow leak from one tire. I just kept filling it and ran it the whole time. Re-did my engine intake with some 4" silicone tube to keep the rocks mud and water out. Looks like its a success. Also relocated my AIP intake tube into the engine bay and installed filters. I am officially done with fender liners.

We did Broken Arrow and after the very first obstacle (minor 4' climb) he said "wow that was easy"

Nice! Glad he is back in it again.

You ever do the bed cage and more wild crap to your Tundra?

It would be nice to see your build thread over here as well.

I can't do a build thread here because sean will just ban me for telling people fox > king...

Yeah dude, the truck is pretty much done! I've got full armor, winch, bobbed rear bumper, all camp systems dialed in. I switched tents and dropped a hundred pounds. took the truck to the Cinders and I was doing 3' high whoops at about 55 mph and then we did Broken Arrow and I was able to climb the gnarly steep obstacle that all the pink jeeps scare tourists with. there are a few other things that I want to do, like 37s/gears /lockers but thats just wishlist stuff. I don't actually need them

LMAO. Good stuff there. No Jason and I are the King hookers around here.

Sounds like you have done a lot of work since I read your build. Simply amazing how a full sized truck that can go at that speed in the bumpy stuff can drive the wife to date night.

I dont run kings, they will scratch your headlights.

thanks man! It wasn't cheap, but I built a truck that can do 6 days in death valley and then drive to portland after and be super comfortable, or go to big bear and tackle gold mountain, or go to Anza hand blast the whoops.

As of a few months ago, I called it completely finished; after building it out for 4 years. Feels good to just hop in and go to sedona without having to worry about some big project looming

Funny, one of my Kings has a scratch on the shaft and puking oil now. You may be on to something.

Builds are never cheap, the end result is always the good stuff though.

That looks like a good time. Next year I'll be done with training and would love to come out. Honestly though, would a DC running only the 6112/5160 combo be able to do some of these trails?

I won't seriously get into a king vs fox debate, but I've heard that the shafts are different materials with king not the stronger.

But their CS is supposed to be good so maybe they will take care of you?
