Milwaukee imop is better than Dewalt. The fuel line can be programmed via Bluetooth. Batteries last longer too. I have a 3/4 impact @ work and it takes lug nuts off of busses torqued to 425 ft. lbs.

Dewalt is good. My BIL is a contractor and that is what he uses. The only problem that I have ever had with Dewalt is they run so many different part numbers for an particular tool. For instance, you have a 1/2" hammer drill which you like and you need to buy another one for the job that you are on. It is likely that Dewalt revised that 1/2" hammer drill to another part number within a year.

Many times I have seen one cordless Dewalt tool last years when another similar one has trigger or motor issues all of the time.

Also buy the Fuel Multitool. You won’t regret it.

You won’t regret going with the Milwaukee tools. Through the years I’ve used lots, mostly dewalt, some ryobi, some others. A few years ago I went with the Milwaukee set that included the pack-out cart box and tool cases. On sale then for about $300. Best tool move I could have made. I did get another 2 batteries.

I'd go Milwaukee, I have tons of DeWalt stuff. Use them for work. I beat the shit outta them but have also seen shit break outta nowhere. Biggest gripe with DeWalt is that the chucks just like to drop expensive ass drill bits. Doesn't matter the tool. I have a 450 dollar hole hawg and it's done it since the first week. I've drilled buildings where it'll loosen on every fucking hole drilled. They act like it's never been brought up. Funny thing is the rep told me they switched chuck styles once and just went and grabbed me a new drill.
I'm just too far invested to switch totally unfortunately.
Side note, I've seen the M18 and fuel line hammer drill catch fire just drilling a 1/2-3/4" hole too. Make too many of 1 thing bound to get a lemon?

I use DeWalt on a daily basis. I keep 4-20v, 5ah batteries with me at all times plus assorted lower ah batteries. I use the XR line . . . Drill, impact driver, 6" circular saw, reciprocating saw, 4" grinder, blower. The week link in the DeWalt brand are the batteries. I have never had a tool fail under normal use.
