I found this truck by accident. I was selling a boat to a guy on CraigsList and he asked for me to meet him half way at his buddies house to do the deal. When i pulled up this was in his buddies garage all blown apart. Long story short I handed the boat cash to his buddy for the BJ.

Wow! I have always loved BJs!! Does TX mess with the diesel emissions?

Nope, 20 years or older and you can blow black smoke all day. I made sure to put a "Diesel Only" sticker on the rear fuel can. so that people would figure out that it smoked because it was burning jet fuel :burnrubber:

I sold the boat for 4500. Got the BJ for 4500. The boat was an old wood boat that a guy was going to chainsaw up and I drug home painted, varnished, and put a tuneup kit on the old 50hp Merc that was on it. Sweat Equity. DID NOT look this nice when I got her 5 years ago.

There is a late 70's land cruiser at the end of my road rotting into the ground. i've been here for 5 years and haven't seen it move. I think its time to go make hime an offer.

Sweet! Late 70's FJ is my dream vehicle. The diesel makes it even sweeter. Great find and resto
