Utah Area BS Thread

We're driving up from Phoenix, and at least one other truck is making the drive from San Diego - come on down!

 

I might be down for that. Probably wont know though until a little later in the month. I'll keep you updated.

Otherwise, is there any other Utahns who want in? I know there's a few members like myself who are down there frequently!

For you Utah peeps!! I'm headed to Moab today and want to get to some "must see" terrain that my truck can handle.

Any of you guys have some favorites?

I haven't done much off roading there but as for mountain biking...The Whole Enchilada (which leads into Porcupine), Hymasa/Captain Ahab. I know that's not much help but I'm interested to hear some good off road trails as well.

 

I'll be out in Wyo again in July, going to spend July 18-22nd in Moab as the wife has to fly back East for a conference for those days. I've been researching ice cream runs for now. Currently on my hit list are Onion Creek, White Rim Trail, Schafer/Potash trails, Long Canyon and if I can squeeze it in Hurrah Pass and Chicken Corners.

 

They serve ice cream on those runs?

Gemini Bridges is also very doable in a stock truck.

 

The White Rim Trail...How could I forget about that one. A crew of us did an awesome 3 day camp trip/booze cruise on the White Rim Trail in Canyonlands about 1 1/2 years ago. It's about 100 miles and pretty chill when its dry. You do have to get permits ahead of time though. 3 days on that trail in November and we didn't see anyone past the first campground area.

2017 with Boss 2.0 and full skids. Not red trail worthy but certainly greens and mild blues is what I'm looking for

I'm hoping to book some holiday time next year to visit some family friendly offroad sites in the US... I'm REALLY hoping to be able to make next years Tundras to Sedonas, but might need a little more vacation time than I have to have enough time to do it.

Honestly you can do quite a bit then. Check out hell's revenge, Klondike bluff and elephant hill. Those are fun as hell and don't require more than skids and a higher travel rate.

 

Selling a set of nfab steps. About to list on ksl for $150 but will go $100 for someone here. Quick hose off and maybe another coat of rattle can bed liner and they'd be good to go. Previous owner hit one step leaving a minor dent. Hardware included.

 

Is this for access cab or full?

For $500 I'd buy them and powder coat them in a heartbeat. Too bad they're 17s and a 0 offset

 

I agree. I don't mind 17s but the offset is no good for me.

 

If you're looking for some good trails you definitely need to check out Southern Utah. If/when you do, hit us up and maybe we can get something organized!

As a Canadian, I sadly have a lot more interest in travelling south as the places I've seen are just to die for.

Would love to just hang out down there.
It'll be a while yet, another year or so to have enough travel time to mix into relax time.
