I was quoted $341 + tax for each front corner. Too pricey for me right now but a pretty good deal considering the exchange.

Seems like a cheap and easy insurance policy.

I ordered both the upper and lower Salex organizers for the free shipping. You could always get a stubby antenna.

I'm actually happy with the upper organizer that came in mine... and i haven't looked into the stubby...but thought it didn't have very good reviews from what I've seen

Tow mirrors installed today, almost ready for our cross country trip on Monday.

Mirrors are from 1A Auto, I replaced platinum mirrors. These mirrors had most of the options. I did lose the power folding feature but retained everything else. BSM, heated, turn signal and power glass adjustment.

I won't have a chance to hit the freeway till tomorrow, so as far as the vibration above 50 mph (only bad thing mentioned In the reviews) ...time will tell.

    IMG_0599.jpg

The one issue I have noticed is that the side marker doesn't work, which I new before I bought them. I figure I can either get it to work or just tie it to the turn signal and have them both blink at least.

They're ABS sensor shields from SDHQ. They cost a bit less than 1/2 the cost of replacing a sensor. @Sean266 wrote about having to replace one of his sensors and I'm trying to learn from his misfortune.

    See fine print
Do they make one with Power Fold? Let us know how the mirrors hold up, It's on my to buy list for the truck. Hate the fact that the Toyota one doesn't have BSM or power fold.

Yeah it's pretty sad that they have all those options on the platinums and no way to get those options with OEM tow mirrors.

The problem on 1A auto is there are about 50 different sets of mirrors, all of which make you choose which option you lose. I think there was a set that had power fold, but lost bsm at a minimum and usually lossing the heated and turn signal along with it. Power folding would be nice, but not at the expense of one or more other options.

We are going to leave on a long haul trip On Monday. I will update later with how they hold up.

Where did you get that light mount? In a world of light bars, I still like the round off road lights
