Anyone have some high quality leather seat covers or more importantly...has anyone re-upholstered? I'm not trying to cheapen the look but I wish I had a PRO leather look

A lot of folks have Katskinz as well. I, personally, prefer the look of the skinz, over clazzio.

I has Clazzio on my last Tacoma and they were great. I am torn now for my Tundra, but leaning toward the Katzkins and heaters.

I had Katzskins and front seat heat installed on a pervious Tacoma. Excellent quaility worked great. A local installer took 4 hrs. $1200 installed. The leather was very nice quailty and held up great.

A friend of mine has been doing upholstery for years. He recommends Katzkins, if I were to ever upgrade (I have cloth now), I would go with them based solely on his recommendation.

I really want to upgrade to the Pro leather seats since I have a 15 which has the Pro cloth. I'm afraid to even ask how much the dealer wants for these but have been looking at the Katz and maybe mocking the color and trim of the pro.

You are comparing apples and oranges. Yes, King suspension is much nicer than Bilstein 5100, but . . . what is your budget?

Clazzio is a seat cover. Katzkins requires re-upholstery (requires professional installation). The price difference reflects this. I paid $390 for my leather Clazzio and installed it myself. How much is the total cost for Katzkin? As far as the cover goes, Clazzio is very nice. People think I have leather from the factory. After 5+ years, it still looks great. But it is still a cover.

They are snug. Some people take their seats off when installing. I didn't, but my hands were quite sore for a couple of days. You gotta make sure the wheather is relatively warm (makes the installation easier).

I can't find any interior pictures (gotta take some). But these were from the installation day (Center console cover has not be installed yet). But you get the idea.

I ordered my leather seat upholstery(front and back) from leatherseats.com and did the installation myself along with heated seats. Total cost $1400 included shipping, all required tools and accessories.

I'll have to dig through my collection of photos, but it was simple. Time and patience a long way. It also gave me a reason to do the double cab rear seat fold down Mod.

Ill try to get some recent photos, it has been almost 2 years since I did the install.

The dealer had it as a $2K add on, while dealing they offered to drop it to $1600, when all was said & done we paid $800 extra for the Katzkins and got remote start for no charge. I'm sure they made up the difference elsewhere.

For my '07 I found leather on Ebay that they said was the oem leather. It was about $500 and I installed it myself. It was time consuming. I read about a guy that did it and complained his hands hurt. :sadviolin: Well, he's just a frickin' pantywaist I thought. I work with my hands, thought I. Crap, my hands did hurt and I spent more than a day pulling all the seats and reupholstering everything. In the end I was quite happy with it though.
