I am in the Denver Metro area, Castle Rock vicinity, I am working to get a suspension lift installed on my 2018, and Les Schwab, Parker area (local store) having issues calling me back with a quote. Is anyone familiar with the area, or a preferred shop to go to for the suspension, wheels and tires?

Shoot, they were the first I called, have not been able to get any sort of reply from them either. After I told them exactly what I wanted...

It's good to check out a shop local to you first, call @Toytec Lifts.....again and ask specifically for Hugo. He's a Yota Pro and you will get great customer service from him and also a modest forum discount if you mention that you are a member here since Toytec is an approved vendor.

Do you not feel comfortable installing this yourself? It's really not a bad job to be honest.

The wheels and tires issue might be a bit of a challenge and OP will need tools and a place to install the suspension which he may have already which would be a plus.

Tell me about it. I'm actually using aluminum concrete forums for the first time in my life.

exactly. Comfortable installing suspension. But the wheels and tires could get fun. And can’t even get a shop to get back to me, so that adds another element. Used to race a class 12 buggy so I have played and McGiver rigged too many shock set ups to actually know the proper way of handling it haha.

Discount tire has always done me right on tires. Slee Offroad in Golden also works on Tundras and Tacos even though they are mostly a LC shop. They do awesome work.

I still recommend you try calling @Toytec Lifts again and ask for Hugo. Toytec is having their annual customer appreciation day on Aug 14th which is not too far of a drive and you will get to meet a few of our members there.

Tried to get in touch with everyone y’all recommended. Got 2 diff quotes so far.

just wondering what the best direction is.

both for the 6112/5160 set up, with KMC 544 Mesa wheels 18"

one with Falken Wildpeak at3w's and the other with the Les Schwab Open Range both at 295/70/r18

one comes with SPC UCA's, as well as a 1/2 spacer to get to the full 3", a rear bearing drop and the Icon ADD.

    the difference is about $1400.

My question is: is the UCA, spacer, drop and Falken over open range, worth $1,400? or is this a pay once cry once and get it all? What can I do without, and what is absolutely needed?

I had High Country 4x4 do my Toytec lift and all my other work, they work with Toytec pretty closely and have been around forever. They're probably 1-1.5 months out for service right now since they do rather large business but call up my buddy CJ in sales to get set up, he can probably answer the questions you asked here more thoroughly.

I don't know much about the Open range tires, but I can definitely say the Falkens are the best tires I've ever had. Head and shoulders above the KO2 I used to run religiously. The UCAs make your alignment much cleaner, as opposed to being all the way at the edge of adjustment. The SPCs are good quality, I'm on my third set on as many rigs and have always been happy with them.

Does anyone know of a shop to get a high output alternator installed? Think my audio system might be pushing the limits of a factory alternator.
