Invest in a hitch carrier or trailer, you lose investment with bed extender when the vehicle is gone. Trailer or hitch basket transfer to next vehicle.

I have a Boonedox T-Bone for hauling my kayak in the bed. also has their bed extender for less than 1/3 price of the T-bone. The T-bone is aluminum making it lightweight. It also has better clearance on slopes when compared to the square construction of the Harbor Freight. If neither of those are a concern, I would go with the HF special. That being said, I really like the T-bone and it's a great product.

I use the AMP bed extender a lot and think it is a very good addition. Stays in the back of the truck and does not require off truck storage. Also much easier to use it over a hitch box or trailer. Tip: get the attachment brackets that bolt in with the tie down hoops. Makes it much easier.

Just realized I may have been talking about the wrong type of bed extender haha. Ooh well.

Not the same, but still a valid contribution. They each have their own use and purpose.

    Too many, but not enough....
I have one of these as well for my 2 man kayak, it was worth the price of 60 bucks from Lowes. It paid for itself on the first use since i didnt have to drive my excursion 100miles up the mountain at 10mpg just to be able to haul the kayak 3 miles from my cabin to the lake.
