You should also toss that Nufinish and wax as you dry product out the window

It gets washed before and after. I want a clean truck inside and out if I'm driving for hours and hours.

Then when I get home wash it ASAP. Didn't do that once, left for a week and a half and had a heck of a time getting all the dried bug goo and bird crap off.

I do try and get her all cleaned up before a camping trip and then expect that it better be all dirty by the time I get home.

Almost always wash prior to any trip. Today being an exception due to there being 100% chance of rain. Ugh. Doing a 14 mile backpack trek tomorrow with 100% chance of rain. Can you say loony tunes?

If we were neighbors, I would go mudding every weekend and just park in your driveway when I'm done.

I'm amazed at how many people wash their cars before a roadtrip. Unless I was going to a wedding or something, the idea would never have even entered my mind.

Dic-20 is what I have. Love it. I only have changed resin 2x's in 4 years. Had a 120 before and was doing it about 1-2 a year.

Yep. Every time. Oh, and the products I have used have not had any harm on any of my vehicles. Everyone will have an opinion on what's the proper way and what's not. I do what I find to enjoy and works- in my 20/20 vision eyes. Looks great every time :)

Sweet. I was wondering before I dropped nearly $400 to upgrade. Looks like we have about the same usage, so seems like the upgrade will be worth it. I'd say I got my money out of the 120 for sure

If anyone is curious, here is the company selling the DI systems @HBdirtbag mentioned. https://crspotless.com/#

Your car dries completely spot free. If you wash your truck a lot and don't like towel drying, these are worth the money.

So do you only use this to rinse after wash? Or do you use it to presoak, wash and rinse?

Assuming you wash weekly and sometimes more like I do... how often do you order resin? I'm super intrested in buying one. My water is terrible even with a water softener...

Hell yeah I do. Clean cars get better fuel mileage. ...buaaaahhhhaaa.

But seriously, I do. Clean vehicles is never a bad thing.

I also wash mine before and even after road trips.. Fiance makes fun of me for doing it but I feel better having a clean truck to start the road trip.

I wash or have washed going - when I get there - before I go home - and when I back in the driveway. I don't like a dirty vehicle.

I only rinse with it...just make sure the truck doesn't start to dry while washing; I'm sure you could presoak, wash and rinse with it, you'll just go through the resin a little more often. Maybe @HBdirtbag will chime in. I have the DI-120 (cheapest model) and I usually have to change the resin twice per year ($39 resin exchange each time). That's washing the truck and my wife's car weekly during the spring/summer and every two - three weeks during winter. But, I'm considering upgrading to the DIC-20, it de-ionizes twice the amount of water. Downside is the cost up front.
