Last Ditch Effort

Hi All!

I just picked up my ‘21 Tundra SR5 Trail a few days ago. I’ve been stalking this forum for months making sure I was headed in the right direction, so thanks for all of the good information! Last ditch effort to find the current body style before the ‘22 releases.

Certainly there will be mods to come, but I’m taking my time to research exactly what I want. In the meantime, some more superficial things and some obsessive cleaning/sealing/detailing.

Headlights are already installed, some LED bulbs all around, interior trim, and some side steps/running boards. TRD pro grill and black bumper caps on the way.

 

Also maybe someone can change my username… jumped the gun on the color…

 

Nice, man. I’m kind of in a similar situation as you, I placed a holding deposit on a cement SR5 with the trail option, that should be delivered end of august.

I want to do something similar with the grille insert (not sure which style I want yet) and the LED headlights. I also placed myself on the waitlist for the cement color-match bumper caps from bumpershellz.

I ordered a Cement Trail in early June with a 7/8 production date and it was still not in production when I backed out 3 days ago. Army Green was my first choice to begin with, but my local dealer had a Cement unit allocated already. Getting this one was just pure luck.

 

Ugh, that’s not comforting. I’m supposed to move cross-country in November for work, but I leave at the end of August, and come back in November. I was hoping it’d be done by then, but, maybe not! My build date was Monday.
