What is an inexpesive way to connect these cut wires?

What is an inexpesive way to connect these cut wires (black and green wires)?

I installed a new left hand outside mirror. When I removed the door panel, I noticed some wires that I think had been cut in the past,

They are the wires to the tweeter by the outside mirror.

I also noticed some wires below the white connector, that look cut, but can't find what they would go to.

Would those bottom wire connect to the wires with the connectors, that I circled?

 

Inexpensive? Butt connectors, Strip, solder and tape or heat shrink, maybe Tap splice? Best way? debatable. Most say solder will crack, tap splice is a poor connection (I've never had one fail). Butt connectors with an appropriate crimper and heat shrink is cheap and reliable. All about the crimp on that one.
Questions:
1. I'm guessing the speaker isn't working on that side?
2. Are there aftermarket speakers or stock?
3. Is there any obvious reason why they would have cut that wire? Factory speaker is still in there and blown, so cut to stop the noise?

 

@KNABORES 1. I will have to check if the speaker isn't working. 2. I think they are the stock speakers. 3. I don't know why who ever owned it before me would cut it. Maybe they did cut it because it was blown.

 

Appears to be a couple of front door speaker arrangements. The second one has an additional midrange speaker adjacent to the 6.5 midbass.

Clean the cut wires, should be able to color-match them.

The 2 top ones, as you probably know, simply go back together color for color. The bottom mess would help you if the over spray(paint ??) or whatever that is was removed....rubbing alcohol, paint thinner ?
Then maybe another pic showing that bottom mess better for others to see. If you proceed before coming back, I would suggest temporarily twisting wires together once figured out to see what reaction from radio you get.

Keep in mind @KNABORES is showing passenger side, so your driver side colors will be different. Below 2006 EWD shows colors you should see on both passenger and driver side.
