I got acc 12v and constant 12v from internal fuse panel using add a circuit today. Since add a circuit sticks out high, lid can't be fit with them. Those of you used ones there, how do you do with the lid? Just leave it detached, exposing fuse panel? I should search further in the forum but could not find the right one. Little advice would be greatly appreciated.

Does anyone know if you can access one of the blank spots below the temp where the USB ports are. By running a light bar wire under dash or it’s looks to me you need to remove the console to reach wire after it comes thru the firewall. Thanks.

    Not sure at this point.
Yep, you have to open up your dash panels and pop out the blank spot. That way, it'll allow you to run a switch to that spot. Search up nitroz18fishing on youtube - he has a really detailed video on how to remove your dash trim to access those spots.

I didn't take any pics because I was a little strapped for time; but I took off my DiamondBack HD, removed by bed rail caps, and installed the bed rail cap shims that DiamondBack includes, but doesn't include in their installation instructions. I've had my DiamondBack on for about a year and a half, and noticed that my bed rail caps were looking a bit crushed where you clamp to the bed rails. It really bugged me that they weren't (and still aren't) very clear about these shims needing to be installed. It's always bugged me cause when I look at them I can see they're crushing the caps, and I've been worried they may be crushing the bed rails themselves. After installing these it's like night and day, they look much more solid, and supported. If you have a DiamondBack, I highly recommend taking the time to install these if you haven't. I may actually make a standalone post about this for visibility, because I think a lot of people don't know you need these.

I believe the gray will get you at least 18 HP, thus the reason I added a little on top of my engine cover :D

The Beast sat another day but did some Tundra related work on the TPV....full brake job, I mean everything, done on the Toaster. Now at 200,924 miles and could easily go another 100K with routine maintenance. Love this thing!

I used an add a fuse to wire in my dash cam, I just left the cover off. It's pretty up and out of the way so I think it should be fine. Keep the cover in the truck though so you still have the schematic to reference.

Thanks! I'm planning an an overall build page and will include this.

If it weren't for the cost of materials I'd even think about cranking these out for other people ;)

Brought it to a cars and coffee meet Saturday. Parked close to a DeLorean. I stole the flux capacitor and gonna try to install it this weekend. Anyone have a write up for it? Plan on installing next to the transmission cooler

Ugh, I don't know how many times I have to tell people this. Flux capacitor can't go in the engine bay! They need to be installed in the cabin with direct airflow from the AC vent. These things overheat way to much to be near the engine.

Whatever man. You have no idea what you're talking about. You probably think while having an 8" lift and 37s that getting good gas mileage is impossible on these trucks. I'm smarter than my parents say I am

This is a common misconception. You can run it in the engine bay but you need to tap into the transmission cooler line, so it’s only available for 2018 and older models.

You won’t be able to hit 88 miles per hour with that setup unless you regear…

To add to this - anyone who has ever bought a cover from them for a Tundra (at least 2014+) can ask them for them and they will ship them to you for FREE. When I bought my cover they did not have shims yet but DB sent me a box when I asked them about them.

I saved looking at the rear suspension for last. The previous owner of the truck didn't know about it but there are a set of air lift 5180 on this truck. I asked about them at the test drive so I was aware of them but I assumed they were shot. They were pancacked and rubbing the mounts but appeared to be in good shape. We put air in and - wow. The truck rear raised up three inches. A nice little surprise at the end of the day. We will see if they hold air overnight and how it rides in the morning. The change is crazy. It used to be I could lean against the tailgate and look in. Now, it's more like peeking over a fence.

Installed Dirty Deeds stainless 10" exhaust with resonator. Without the resonator, it was too loud for my liking. Wife was not pleased either. Resonator toned it down about 50%, and it is just about right. The drone in the city is a bit louder than I would want, but almost gone completely on the highway.

I wasn't a fan of the rusty tail pipe, or the look of the tail pipe at all for that matter. I cut the tail pipe about 6 inches after the hanger. I'm a big fan of the clean look. I used a wire brush drill attachment to remove the rust, primed it with two coats Rust-Oleum high heat primer, then three coats Rust-Oleum high heat flat black spray paint. Finished it off with the "baking" process in the paint directions.
