Decided to take a trip to Moab, UT with the wifey. Thank you for those that recommended “things to do” in Bryce Canyon or Arches NP’s. For those that haven’t had the opportunity to visit this place, put it on your “to do” list. Moab is BEAUTIFUL! It was a little over 1600 miles round trip for me...well worth it. For those of you that live in Utah and get to visit regularly, I am extremely jealous...lol. We hit the first trail called Gemini Bridges, made it to the top and decided to stay the night, so amazing. The next day was Fins and Things trail, oh my, this was a bit tough in some spots. Thank you @joonbug for your teachings when we went to Bald Mountain, definitely came in handy in some spots. The next trail was Chicken Corners. Pretty easy trail and 48 miles round trip at no more than 8-10 MPH, plan for a looooooooong day. You tackle everything on this trail, small hill climbs, deep sand, rock climbs, some spots you are about 8” from the edge of a cliff. This was worth the drive also. You do have to battle a lot of side x sides and other vehicles, but most people have the courtesy and knowledge when coming head to head on a “one way” trail. The restaurants we went to were great and the people are extremely nice. Already wanting to plan another trip. Thank you Utah. And yes, the last picture, truck is almost vertical coming down a rock, didn’t think I would make this one.

    Looks fun!

Technically neither Arches nor Bryce are in Moab though. ;)

Bryce is amazing and very underrated. Next time you're here you should check out Canyonlands - the best park in Utah and one of the least popular.

We were planning on Bryce or Arches and last minute decided Moab. Canyonlands is a definite for next time.

Looks amazing! Serious pucker factor on that last one. I'll have to make a trip for myself.

@Kdogg77 , thanks for sharing, what trails do you recommend in UT? Im looking for ones that have great views, and possibly place to pull of the road and camp with my kids. Not looking for anything in the “black diamond” category just roads one would feel comfortable without much experience. Thanks!

Gemini Bridges was super easy. Nice little hike at the end to climb on the bridges. There are spots there to pull over and camp (they are marked). Chicken Corners is a super long drive, at least need a good 4-5 hours to complete. Its an in and out the same way trail. It has amazing views, easy climbs up and down. You can stop at the chamber of commerce and they have off road maps with difficulty levels (some need to be raised). We can’t wait to go back. Have fun!!

None of the trails shown here are technical - Fins N' Things is the most difficult and is still rated "easy."

You should have no issue with 33s.

If you want a small challenge and amazing camping check out White Rim Road. Note that you must have a permit and if you plan to camp you need to reserve a campground in advance.
