big congrats to the tb lightning on winning the stanley cup!

was pulling for the stars, as they're only a few hours north of me. not a huge fan of any one specific hockey team, but i enjoy watching the games.

i do miss my aeros!

 

I could care less who won as long as it wasn’t Dallas. They shouldn’t have the one tainted cup they already have.

Tampa played well. Good goal tending and solid D. Hedman is as good as it gets back there.

I played for Cooper when he was coaching in Green Bay. Hell of a guy and really glad he is getting what he deserves. We are in the midst of who I firmly believe will go down as the greatest coach in NHL history.

Big statement at this point in his career, still fairly early. But his resume speaks for itself. The guy knows how to bring the best out of his guys. Time will tell, but I can tell you the dude is special

Barf. Canadiens showed some valiant effort but weren't in the same weight class. Loved the physicality in game 4 but in the end they had too many soft players (Tofoli and Armia especially). Islanders/Lightning should have been the finals and Islanders/Bruins was the best series of the playoffs. Did I mention I like the Islanders brand of hockey? Signed, a Red Wings fan.

 

Not having watched them recently, what exactly is the Islanders' brand of hockey?

 

Congrats to the Bolts. Impressive! I wish the Bruins got a crack at them.. It’s just unfortunate they blew chunks when it came to the Islanders. Compared to the series with the Caps, their level of play was lower than whale sh*t

 

Tough, physical, take it to you and grind it out with excellent forechecking and puck control along the boards. Very well disciplined and coached.

 

Congrats to the Lightening. I’m a Blackhawk fan but they haven’t been doing much lately. Maybe next year.

 

Seems that Tampa is getting used to WINNING! The Magic should relocate from Orlando... makes sense. Must be the Brady, er...water...
