    Hi all,
I have an ICS dash mount that has a USB charger attachment. Whats the best and/or easiest place to hardwire the black and red wires? Can I just tap each of them into the 12v? Thanks in advance

(Admins, please dont move this to new member introductions like the last thread I made. I legit am needing help with this.)

I ran a jumper wire down to an ignition fed wire that was part of the HVAC panel if I remember correctly.

Best way ~ solder, easiest ~ splice / tap

You should be able to tap into a 12v feed

I prefer soldering. Would it be as simple as connecting or tapping the red to red and black to black at the 12v/cig lighter?
