Received Diode Dynamics pro fogs and they look great. One issue tho. One of the lenses were installed wrong and now one Fog light is shinning vertically. I know easy to rotate lenses. Tried. Got 2 of the 4 T10 screws loose but the other 2 have broken 3 bits trying to remove. So fun. :annoyed:

    did you get it?

if not, try tightening the 2 screws you got loose (not super tight but to where it takes pressure off the other two screws) and then loosening the two you could not. The pressure might be keeping you from breaking free the stuck screws

Finally got ahold of Victory 4x4. Be a few weeks for them to make the frame mounts for the bumper, but that and the hardware will ship out within a few weeks. Despite my frustrations with their sales department, at least the guy didn’t make excuses…

Most of the square drain flange is covered and sealed by a baffle that slopes down from the upper, back side of the square flange almost all the way down to the lower front side of the flange. There's a narrow slit between the front wall of the square flange and the leading edge of the baffle that allows the condensation to drain out.

If it wasn't draining then there's obviously something blocking it. The A/C refresher kit was the right move to get the gunk out. In a pinch though you can use an air hose to blow into that narrow gap from under the truck to clear the blockage.

I found out that mine was blocked a few weeks ago and it was bad enough that water started leaking through the floor vents and under the carpet.

Hi guys, I’m checking my coolent level today. I’m not sure what to fill it to. When truck is cold it’s below halfway between the full and low line. What do you usually fill to?

Upgraded to LED fog lamps! I liked the circular daytime running lights (first pic). The DRLs wire into a fuse tap from the fuse box. The center part activates just like the regular lamps (second pic). I added a smoke wrap over them to match my headlights.

Here they are on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B08JLV12VJ?ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title

Here's the light pattern. I don't know that it's good but I literally never use my fog lamps... Just wanted the Halo lights.

Found it on page 539. It’s ok to be between low - full when cold. Always wondered why they never filled it to “Full”. Cheapskates

Changed oil at 10,500 miles interval with a lot of city miles. Report came back good so I'll continue with 10,000 oil change interval. Also drained half of the coolant and replaced power steering fluid.

Found an old bottle of Cquartz UK edition so I cleaned the car, clayed it, light polish with M205 and applied the expired ceramic coating. Came out pretty good and will wash it in a few and apply the reload. Water beads pretty well for an expired product.

Now I need to get ready to do brake fluid flush, spark plugs, both differentials, transfer case and transmission drain. :(

I do a lot of the work on it though lol. Helped fix the secondary air pumps by changing them. That was before we figured out we just needed a bypass. Put some 2” leveling struts by rough country, and other things.

Yes. Plug and play even though Sparks website said they weren’t compatible. Running lights, power fold and heat all worked just by plugging them in.

That’s awesome, you sound a lot like me at your age. I was doing brake jobs, etc before I learned to drive. You will save a lot money through the years doing your own work. It’s great to see somebody your age getting their hands dirty instead of playing X-Box all the time

There is a headlight restore kit called Cerakote you can get at Walmart or online for $20.00 and bring them back to life. Just takes a little elbow grease, but with the type of work you’ve done already, this would be a breeze for you. I’m sure there are several YouTube videos of it being used.

looks like Amazon is selling it for 20. Works wonders brought my headlights back to life and my fog lights looked like they were straight out of the oven. Super easy and the box has a QR code on the back if you need to look at the instructions video. Quick tip when you are sanding take your time to get everything out and when you move to the second part of the sanding take longer your lights will look great!
