So, we're from Missouri, and wife wanted to go somewhere she'd never been before. (She's from VA and hasn't been north of the Mason Dixon line, so to speak; I'm from Chicago and will never go there again if I don't need to. LOL)

I suggested "Wisconsin Dells" and she said "Huh?"

It's been years (as in 30 of them) since I've been there; and we're driving up next Monday for a 5 day stay. Looking for suggestions on what to do in/around/near the Dells. :)

The Dells brings back a lot of memories! Growing up in WI this was the place to go during the summer when you were in middle school. The water parks were awesome and the boat tours were fun. However, it’s been a few decades since I was in middle school so I am sure things have changed. Whatever you end up doing, enjoy!

If you are "outdoorsy" hit Devils Lake State Park - bring your camera.

I wanted a faster vehicle so I also bought a Chevy SS... because 4 door sedans with big V8’s are hilarious.
Make a day trip up to Lake Superior, head to Superior/Duluth.
