Put on the 8" bamuffler yesterday, sounds awesome. Now I think I need a different tip. I will cut off the flared end and run a 2.75" - 4" I think, what are you guys using for length? Seems 10" and 14" are the most common for sale

Been using this last two changes. No issues. One of the recommended brands I found a few years back for our t-cases.

It's very easy to break the plastic oil filter housing. I've broken two myself. You have a few options...(1) keep the plastic housing and don't break it, (2) upgrade to the Toyota aluminum housing, or (3) get a spin-on filter adapter from Baxter and use a traditional oil filter...https://baxterperformanceusa.com/product/ts-301-bk-cartridge-to-spin-on-adapter/

I'm sure there are other options, but these are what I'm aware of. Option (3) is expensive at $200, but I put one on my wife's Highlander and I love it. My Tundra will get one this winter at its next oil change interval.

If it reads like that, "odored" seems correct.

Window tint and a little front PPF protection installed today.

    tint1.jpg tint2.jpg
I believe it is Xpel XR. The front side windows at 35% seem just about perfect to me. The front windshield at 55% feels dark for my taste. The installer described it as "a touch of color" but to me it's dark. Maybe I'll adjust and not mind it, we'll see. Worst case I'll have them re-do it at 70 or 80%.

    Lots of shenanigans.
Getting my alignment done right now. Fun fact don’t go to fire stone or tires plus otherwise they’ll take your truck completely out of alignment. I paid for the lifetime alignment thinking that would be good since I off road a lot but turns out they don’t honor it if you put any mods on your suspension. Just save the headache, your tires not wearing uneven, and send it to a shop that knows what they’re doing.

One more...got the bed Line-Xed. They had to do another pass because I found some spots that weren't adequately covered after the first try. Looks good now. Half the price the dealer was asking to do it for. They even took off and put back the deck rails so they could spray under them.

Just got mine in the mail today as well. So far simple install and sync. Going to try the mod where you hide it under the center tray.

Hooked up the 5er and drove her home, 450 miles. B&W Companion hitches and pulls like butter. Brake controller (set to electric, 5000lbs+) with the self adjusting brakes on RV as well. Passed by countless semis on i80, zero sway or fishtail. 9mpg at 60mph

Maybe a tad bit more air in the firestones needed, now at 10psi

truck looks good and glad to hear it did well! seems like you're still within your truck's limits and it handled great. curious as to what kind of tires you're runnin in terms of rating and what psi you had them in for it?

I thought the 28 feet was fairly reasonable and one of the smallest I could find. Def not a 2 bedroom apartment

Got the new decals put on the side that were sent to me during secret santa. I had some distressed flags on it, but they would catch on my MF cloths while wiping down in certain parts of the flag, so I opted to take them off before ceramic coating. now that time has passed, I finally got to put these on. just in time for Independence Day!:oldglory:

Color matched my tow hooks and got my dash ripped apart for installation of 55405-0C020-C1 (black middle/stereo trim)

I originally tried painting the piece but left stripper on it too long and cracked all the plastic ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Bought overnight shipping but with 4th of July weekend upon us it’s gonna sit like this for a few days….F22B43E3-565B-4123-A7AB-D3DB5DE3AFBC.jpg B6F8A602-6122-4684-A112-7931BD76C691.jpg

Exactly why I’m just waiting for the part to arrive rather than run my truck with a cracked up peeling panel and have to take it apart again haha

So after 24 hours... seems to be working as described. Buttons are responsive all around and no hangs. Pairs up in 30-40 seconds after all the standard Toyota 'announcements' leave the screen. Quick question - is there a way to make it NOT switch my audio source to iPhone? I like that it goes straight to my Waze but not the dead silence...

Just got in a little weekend mod from @james@tech12volts. Supposed to be straight forward for non-JBL set ups.
