Going down the road now that I own a Tundra, my eyes pick up on Tundras on the highways.
I see all kinds of trailers being towed by them which gave me the question?
If you had your choice money not an issue, what trailer would you hook up to for cross country travels / camping.

Bigfoot 21 or 25 foot 2 axle trailer.
All season fiberglass camper. Well built. None of the common quality control or leak issues you hear about on a lot of RV forums. The only draw back is depending on where you live.......you will have trouble finding a Bigfoot specific dealership familiar with these travel trailers.

    With or without kids?

    Without, an airstream.

With, a few different bunk models at model #29 and under. Comes down to payload, length and features.

    Exactly!

    Same choice here.

Also a true 4 season trailer option which is rare.

Even if money was no object, I would still opt for a 2-bedroom suite at the Ritz while traveling to the destination, and once there, a premium Air BNB or VRBO house would work for me. I have zero interest in driving a truck that is pulling any size trailer across the country.

I would rock an Airstream and would probably never need to think about buying another camper for the rest of my life.

You could... or you could park it by a nice mountain lake a crack a cold beer after hiking and biking. That one sounds better to me. lol

I'm sorry Bro but, that thing is waaaay overkill for throwin a line into river or lake.
Even wild animals would run in terror if they saw that thing rolling in. Now, if we ever ran into a zombie apocalypse, that beast would be front row.

This is a fun thread. Too bad I do NOT have unlimited funds. These things are expensive!

Is there a thread like this for "Reasonably Priced" Favorite Camper Trailer?

Or, you could spend the $1.7M that the EarthRoamer HD starts at and go on some kick ass vacations around the world.

lol. I admit, not practical for anything short of a cross-world expedition (that the German one was built for Africa/Patagonia) but fun to look at. If I was being serious, I'd get the airstream like everyone else. The Airstream now lets you order bunks as options with a lot more of their floorplans so it's better with the kids. And I'd even get the smallest one I could fit bunks in as I don't want to tow a 30 foot trailer, either. All I have to do is come up with $100k...

Well, since the title says camp "trailer", and not a boat. I'd have to go with the bougie Bowlus Terra Firma. AND, it's only $265K (starting price)

This "moth" looks cool, small and light.

Money no object, I just buy one of the AWD sprinters or an old Japanese Delica L400. Has to be easier than a trailer, if money is no object.

That being said, during pandemic due to the nature of my job, I found myself mingling with all kinds of first responders and ground assist personnel. I was afraid of bringing covid home to the family, I used this as my motivation to buy a new to me trailer. . Ended up with a great deal on 2017 hardside A frame popup. A Flagstaff T12RB

    IMG_7160.jpg

Probably spent over two months cumulative time in it depending on my trips and schedules.

i have now done a couple of camping trips to the lake with my son, we really like the convenience of kitchen, fridge and espresso and bacon in the morning.

Planning a Mendocino trip for 4th of July.

I'd probably just add a nice 6" lift, hi top wedge cap with big enclosed swing out hitch cargo carrier, then roll. Stay in hotels mostly, but camp in the truck a few nights per week at various spots that are rather remote.
