That was a pretty common thing. The AG Pro was really well received. I was just poking at you as I was one of the few that wasn't on board with it. I'm also, apparently, in the minority on the 2022 trucks. I like the look the more I see it. I won't buy one, but I like the look.

Honestly, I didn’t like that truck when I first saw a picture of it. But that goes for many cars and trucks when they first change body styles. It has started to grow on me. Many complained of these trucks not getting a real update in many many years. Many of us like the tried and true platform, but things eventually will change. I think the truck looks typical of an updated Toyota platform and styling. It’s reminiscent of a Tacoma, which seems like a reasonable decision for Toyota. The front end of that truck really does look similar to many of the current Toyota and Lexus models out there. Even a Corolla that just drove past me right now had that same Toyota look. it looks like the brand LOL. You put the right drive train and make it reliable in that truck, and I would drive the shit out of it and be proud of it. Put some chunky tires on there GTG!

I honestly did not like it at first but I’ve had a change of heart. It’s the drive train that has me concerned. I also don’t care for too much tech, it’s distracting to me and always has me worried about something being hard to fix for this old wrench turner. But I still think it’s a handsome truck. I would probably prefer it without the fender flares and maybe some different headlights.

I think the "pearl white crap" is actually the DRLs and lit up, isn't it?

Edit: check out the pics from the first peaks. Those are gonna be the DRL

That shot looks pretty bad ass to me. But I personally have no plans on getting a new truck for at least 10-15 more years

Yeah they are but I've never been into all the weird lights. Car designers these days must be big Tron fans. I think its distracting clutter.

I like this look more than the current gen and glad I am squeezing that last year out of my 2001. I do like the white more than the red though but I think this would look great in quicksand or cav blue as well.

2022 Pro's will start in the 60's according to my wife's cousin who runs a dealership north of Atlanta.

    Puke!!!

Was so excited about this but like everything else in these current times, it’s a big let down!!

I have a 2001 TRD Pro w 200k miles and hope to upgrade to a Gen 3 in 2 yrs after I give my truck to my son when he starts driving. I hope I can afford a Gen 3 because I see their value increasing even more after the sneak peak of the Gen 4 looks cartoonish! Ugh. I was banking on getting a good deal on a Gen 3 if a guy upgraded to the 2022, but I doubt guys are guna be getting rid of their Gen 3s now!

They missed the mark on that one! I know it took us all a while to get used to the new look years ago…but this one is ridiculous! If it ain’t broke don’t fix it!

Longer list than the wife needs to know about....
I don't hate it... and we were right about the power plant coming from Lexus... that's a little rewarding... although I think I'll just put a blower on my 5.7 and run it till she dies.
