Okay , i have replaced rear shocks , front coilovers, upper and lower CA's, ball joints, steering rack , outter tie rods,
    Upgraded front disc brakes,
    Rear drums / pads.
I have the carrier bearing now,
Just have to do the R@ R.
I have just f$%*#&g been robbed of my fuel and they broke my cap.
Does any one know ifa locking cap door is made for a 2006 sr5 v8 ? The shame is i live out in the woods. Its becoming more like city every day.

Not sure about an 06, I have a locking cap and locking door. Bought the cap first, then the door with plans to go back to factory cap. Well the door can be opened up with a decent screwdriver and trashed pretty easily, so I keep the cap as backup. Like the door because the factory is plastic and cheap construction. The door does stand out from a distance so maybe a thief would be deterred before getting close enough to see how easy it is to defeat the hinges. Lock it up, they might just cut the tank, can't win honestly, I just don't want any polluted gas in my truck so it's locked.

As far as I know, no one has ever come back and confirmed fitment, but I see no reason why you couldn't get a junkyard gas door/latch with a lock from 2000-2002 tundra which came with one OEM.

Pay a locksmith to make you a tumbler for it

My worry is not theft, had to terminate an employee for payroll theft years ago and I have reason to believe that individual decided to pollute my fuel tank. Had just put a short block in about six months prior and it WAS running like a sewing machine. You just never know about people. However, I do know that was a disappointment and one of the downfalls of running a business. So smash a window, slash tires, gouge paint, graffiti, it is all better than a polluted tank. That being said, I don't generally have people problems, but they are not non existent either, and sometimes kids are just well "kids". So, I will be keeping the tank locked and just hope for the best.
