I just purchased a brand new 2017 Tundra. Has the JVC radio. Matched my Samsung S5 to the radio.

But having problems with the phone function. Can receive calls with no problems. But when accessing the dialer or contacts is where the trouble starts. I can access the favorites or history. But dialer and contacts comes and goes. One minute they are there, the next minute they are gone and can't access to make a call unless I physically do it from the phone itself. It is an intermittent problem but one never knows when it it will be functional. I have only had the vehicle for 3 days. Anyone else had this problem?

I never had this problem until AFTER the dealer replaced the head unit because of ongoing (known) Entune issues.

Now, in addition to the Entune issue not really being fixed, my phone has started acting exactly as you describe.

I can stop, shut it off, then restart and it will sometimes work. Usually I wind up deleting my phone then re pairing though.

Thanks I just figured it out. It is a JBL system to be correct. And the unit will not let you use dial pad, contact list, or access messages while the vehicle is moving. Just something I learned that my other vehicles don't feature. I just replaced the unit with a Pioneer system that operates much better and offers more for the end user.

I am having a different bluetooth issue in my 2017 Crewmax. 50% of the time when paired with my phone and any playlist, the music is distorted and goes into hyperspeed (like chipmunks if that makes sense). I have to unpair and hope it restarts correctly. Anyone have this problem?
