what did you go with for tires, I just bought SCS SR8's with the 25 offsets, had the RAY 10's on my Tacoma but I'm liking the SR8's.

What size did you go with on tires and I'm going probably with 6112's at top notch and 5160's rear with a 1" CB shackles hoping for a level at near 3"

I still haven't decided on tires I'm back and forth between ko2 and ridge grapplers. I'm waiting for the Ray10's to be released for the Tundra so I have time to decide. I'm thinking 35 12.50 for the tires. I ordered my suspension from MCM FAB so that is getting built. Did MCM uca's with ADS 3.0 coilovers for the front and ADS 2.5 bypass shocks and deaver leaf springs for the back.

I just installed a bilstein 6112/5160 setup up and got about 2.75" up front without the alinement yet! I have a 2017 Tundra CM 4X4 and was wondering if I could run the 35/12.50/18's on it my rims are the SCS SR8 18's with a +25 offset. I like the 295's but think the 35's would look nd ride better but don't want to chop or heavy mod to make it work!

I run 295 RG's and love em. Can't speak long term life but ALL else is tits. Did not need cmc. Got 1.25 spacer, 2 shims +3 shackle on Pro suspension. I will buy another set when needed. I got pics w/ & w/out flares from front or rear showing how they line up with body or flares. I also got level ground pics, with atv on bed cover, close up, far away, u name it and I got a pic if u need it. Lol. Good luck.

 

The 1.25 spacers are very close to your +25 offset. Running 35x12.5r18 I'm almost positive u will need cmc. With my setup, if I did, I would've needed. Hope helps.

 

I only needed minor trim and push liner upfront forward. You can't tell it's not stock there. I got pics of that too if u need.

The ride honestly feels like stock. I couldn't be happier.

 

I love the look both with and without the flares. I think it gives a little more rugged look with and more refined without. For me it became a matter of keeping rocks off the side protecting paint. The flares I don't think u can go wrong either way. I almost paid for them and liked look so much without didn't put on. But instead of 650 sitting on my garage floor I decided to give em a try and I'm happy I did. I like both ways it just a matter of preference. For me, they serve a purpose too.

 

I'm shocked at how well it rides. As good or better than BFG KO.

They look like mudders to most people.

Same set up as mgm without spacers/flares

 

I am happy with my ridge grapplers. They are remarkably quiet and the ride is better than stock. They are still new so I cant speak to longevity.
295 55 20 on 20x9 +50mm offset. No wheel spacers.

Alright I'll give u a pass,let u slide, and won't go slashing ur tires just yet. But I do want to collect on the pics at some point. I think that's a fair trade, my help for ur pics. Lol. In all seriousness I really do want to see how yours looks in comparison to mine. I know it will be somewhat similar but you've got me really curious on what the differences look like in comparison. Good to hear you are moving along with things, I shouldn't talk, but patience are key.

It’s been over a year - so how about a little long term feedback on the RG’s? Any road noise singing, how have worn and handling? Would you buy again? A friend of mine had them and said after 5k they became noisy...thoughts?

 

I love em. I got 30k on them and they're wearing fine. No more noise than stock, maybe even a tab bit quieter. I think I'll need new tires before winter next year. They dont look like they need to be replaced yet, but they do look like I'm not going to have a ton of time left on them. I do drive hard on them.

 

I've had mine for almost 10k miles, and I wouldn't say that I've noticed any increased road noise. That's hard to pick up on when it really starts though, as my truck also has exhaust. They still ride good, but I have noticed that when it's wet, I can easily break traction now from a stand still on pavement. As far as wear goes, I think they measured around 12/32. That seemed a little quick to me, but looking at them, they still look good. I'm hoping the wear slows down some, as I expected to get about 40k or more out of them based on other reviews I had seen.

 

I've had mine for 8 months now and really like them so far but have not done any snow driving yet.......doesn't snow where I'm from.....as far as the noise they are pretty quiet considering the aggressive look......also get lots of compliments on how they look.....but they sure are very heavy if rotating your self or doing any kind of work where you have to take them off but any tire that size will be heavy

 

I’ve had mine on for about 10k miles so far and still look great. They do pretty well in the snow... not amazing by any means, but wet roads they do break traction easier than stock for sure. At 10k miles , to me , they seem as quiet as stock and I have just factory single exhaust. Would I buy again? You bet. Also, keep in mind, I expect to get shorter life on mine because I run them under inflated, because it’s worth the price in comfort with a softer tire to me .
