I saw this while thumbing through Instagram. I usually think anything advertised on Instagram is a scam- like when I see Spy sunglasses for $26 shipped. I am hoping somebody here might know a thing or two about this console.

If it's as cool as they say, the price isn't bad and I'd be happy to return to childhood and play these games. Website seems pretty homemade, not a great sign to me.

    Anybody have experience with this?

They do take PayPal, tempted to take a risk since PayPal has pretty good consumer support.

I did buy a similar game package years ago that held several games encased in an oversized yellow joystick with a wire to connect it to the TV. Fairly rudimentary but all games worked as I remembered. I want that old driving game, the one where you could accelerate or not, shift from low to high, and when the background switched to sand, steering was really lethargic. Loved that game!
    (So true to life. ;))

@Sunnier I have seen some of those retro game kits. One thing that stands out with this one is it says it will save your progress on games. Thats a big plus because I'll nerd out and play Castlevania for a week.

That brings back memories of pausing video games and turning off the TV, only to find later that my mom noticed the Nintendo was on and she turned it off. Oh the agony of lost progress.

I'm betting what they're touting is legit but I just can't swallow the price on what seems to be something that was just stored on an SD Card and was probably added through an open source emulator(s).

Without seeing something about it in action or a review to show the UI, I'd be skeptical at purchasing at nearly a $100 but that's just my take. I get the reason to purchase if it's only purely for the convenience of it.
